Perspective - Third Person

"Ai'Tinn!!! I haven't even finished making my agreement with your father, damn it! Don't drag me away like this!"

"It's already settled. You're just too slow to catch up."

"Hey! I heard everything loud and clear. Freedom, independence—whatever, I don't care! I'm going to get revenge for you!"

At that moment, several workers, who had been watching curiously to see what punishment might befall the one who dared to strike the eldest son, now witness the scene of the second Khun-chai hauling, dragging, and pulling his friend (?) out of the master's office. Even as the fair-skinned man protests loudly.

"You've already avenged me—you just don't realize it."

Pause.

Khaen turns back to look at the Khun-chai of the house, still confused about how he might have avenged anything. After all, those two punches hadn't even begun to settle the score for what his brother did.

"No… I don't know." Khaen's reply makes Tinn sigh, pretending exasperation, though a smile lingers on his lips.

"Promise me one thing, and I'll tell you the best way to get revenge."

Khaen narrows his eyes, but he nods firmly. "Alright, I promise. So, tell me—what can I do to avenge you?"

Tinn reaches up to gently smooth down the disheveled hair of the one who's been exerting himself since noon, a gesture done not half-heartedly, but with genuine care.

"Stay by my side, always."

"Hm."

"Promise me."

"Ah, I promise, I promise. I already promised before, so why keep repeating it? By the way, where is the way to make you feel better?" The listener responds in confusion, still not understanding why it needs to be emphasized so many times, which makes Tinn smile widely and then break into laughter.

The laughter causes the workers to look on in surprise.

They have not heard Khun-chai Tinn's laughter for many years.

"Staying with me... that is the best way to get revenge."

And, of course, the one who is bird-brained still does not understand.

"When it comes to understanding something, it is easy. When it comes to not understanding, it becomes too difficult, Khaen." Tinn says this playfully while gently shaking Ai'Khaen's head, causing the person being shaken to duck away in annoyance for being called bird-brained. However, when he sees the rare smile on the hard-to-please face, he softens.

"Alright, I won't get involved anymore."

"It would have been best if you had stayed out of it before you insulted my father by calling him a biased old uncle." Ai'Khun-chai says, slightly shaking his head.

At just that moment though…

"In the end, you still have happiness, don't you?" Comes Tul's voice.

Swish.

That voice causes both Tinn and Khaen to turn their heads in unison to see the wicked man standing there, smiling as if he is unaffected. This makes Tinn quickly grab his partner's arm and step out to shield him.

Taking a protective stance that makes Tul smile.

"No matter what you do, you will still be happy."

The words make the younger brother stare silently at his older brother, and he does not know if it is because he has just finished clearing things up with their father, but Tinn finally sees something he has failed to see for many years.

The change in this evil spirit.

"Father told you that I am going to divorce Wadi."

If it were any time in the past, Tinn would have thought to himself that Tul still remains the evil spirit that, even after divorcing his wife, he does not feel anything. This time though, he sees it differently. He sees relief in the eyes of someone who has expressed the desire for perfection all his life.

"Serves you right!" However, the one who replies thus is Khaen, who stands behind Tinn. But fortunately, he does not rush at Tul again.

"Why?" While Tinn asks his older brother in confusion.

"Why?"

"Why would someone who has always wanted success like you agree to a divorce?"

Why would someone who holds everything in his hands let go of his own things?

This makes the listener shrug and respond as if he is the one who has been harmed. "When Wadi went to France a few months ago, she met someone new there. I do not blame her. It was me who was too focused on work to have time for her. We have been talking about this for months, and it is time for me to give her some freedom."

The listener looks at his older brother silently, knowing that the speaker is trying to gain sympathy, acting like a good man who wants his wife to find something better.

However… Tinn sees selfishness.

Tul does not grant freedom to Wadi, but he asks for freedom for himself.

"What about Nong Phu?"

"Nong Phu will stay here, because as soon as we divorce, Wadi will go to France. She herself can hardly stand the gossip." Tul replies simply, which makes the listener pause and think, looking at Tul's red face bruised from Khaen's punch for a moment.

And that makes the half-Thai man speak with a smile. "You can mock me… you can mock the failure you have always wanted to see… In the end, my wife ran off to live with someone else like my mother."

"Sure, go ahead, you! Just scold him already!" The person behind him continues to stir up trouble, while Tinn does not say anything, for he has seen something clearly... the clearest he has seen his brother in many years.

Tul does not intend to further harm Khaen as he thought.

His thoughts are of one who knows best how severe it can be when the man before him intends to do harm. Yet that man has merely played childish games, sending images and clips to Khaen to make him misunderstand. With just a few commands, Khaen's father could lose his job, and Khaen might be forced out of the university, or anything else that could prevent Khaen from standing beside him at this moment.

There are many ways to act, but Tul has chosen to play childish games. Then now Tul is asking him to mock his failures.

"Why... why do you only do this?" Tinn's question, filled with doubt, causes Tul to hesitate.

He has never seen his younger brother display such calmness before, as Tinn has always danced to his desires. Now though Tinn appears surprisingly wise.

"Maybe I am tired of it."

"Tired?" And it is the first time Tinn sees the unstable look in his older brother's eyes.

"Perhaps I promised him."

"Promise? To whom?" No matter how many words he speaks, Tinn still does not understand the person before him, prompting Tul to wave his hand dismissively, as if to cut the conversation short.

"Never mind. Just know that you can feel at ease. I am tired of playing... You have chosen a person who is no fun at all, dear Tinn." The notion of fun likely refers to Khaen, who has never done what Tul wanted even once.

"What nonsense are you talking about? I am so confused." Once again, Khaen eases the tense atmosphere between the two brothers, to which Tul merely laughs, pinching his nose in pain, then turns to smile at his younger brother... a smile that Tinn has not seen in a long time.

The smile of his kind older brother, with no hidden agendas... but Tinn no longer trusts him.

"You should know that if I intended to act, you probably would not have had the chance to return to Thailand again." Tul smiles once more, looking beyond at the one who still huffs and puffs, and speaks calmly.

"Take good care of your special person. Do not make mistakes... like your brother."

Upon finishing, the eldest heir of the household turns away. Soon, the sound of a car starting is heard, indicating that he is likely going out. Meanwhile, Tinn continues to gaze in the direction his brother has left, deep in thought as he begins to understand something.

Phii Tul did not err regarding Phii Wadi. His mistake was made four years ago... a mistake that allowed someone to step out of his life.

"Phupha... is the steadfast love given to someone. Why have I been so foolish not to see it for so many years?" Tinn mutters softly as he realizes something in that moment.

His brother has ceased to harm him since the day he sent him back to England again. Otherwise, he would not have returned to study in Thailand.

"What do you mean? What does it have to do with your nephew?" Khaen asks curiously, observing Tinn as he exhales deeply and places a hand on his shoulder once more.

"Nothing. I just pity myself for not realizing that my brother has been facing his consequences beginning many years ago." Tinn sighs deeply again before he begins to walk up to his room, causing Khaen to furrow his brow sharply.

"Where are we going?"

"Make love," comes the short reply, which undoubtedly makes someone like Khaen smile broadly.

For Kirakorn, it is not necessary to speak in elegant, roundabout terms. He is not a woman. Thus, he does not desire sweet words. Just straightforward expressions of feelings are sufficient.

Make love simply means, in Ai'Khaen's style, that... Tinn wants to embrace me.

"Bring the color over here. I will cheer you up. You can trust me." Khaen's cheerful demeanor causes even the usually stoic man to crack a smile.

~~~
"Hey... Ai'Tinn, I have been curious for a long time... oh."
Inside the bedroom of the youngest son who has just introduced his partner to his father, Khaen is lying on the bed, both hands tightly gripping the owner's dark hair. He sucks his lips in excitement when Tinn's shapely lips repeatedly lick his light-colored nipples even as one of Tinn's hands kneads them until they are hard.
"What?" Tinn looks up, while his fingertips keep teasing the softness, making Khaen ask in a hoarse voice... filled with curiosity.
"Why when my nipples are licked... ah... does it feel so good? I squeezed them myself, but I didn't... feel it...."
The one who does it freezes, looking at the person lying weakly on the bed. The white skin is also turning red with passion, but Khaen the atmosphere-destroyer still has the nerve to ask these questions at this time.
"Who cares?"
"Me... ah, don't squeeze me so much. I said it felt good... I want to know why it feels so good." Khaen nods his head to answer, while also looking at his own erect nipples.
"Raise your hand and squeeze it gently."
"Yeah, but squeezing it feels good right now."
The atmosphere-destroyer says that, which makes Tinn almost sigh.
"Because you're in the mood," the perfunctory answer sounds, which makes the listener laugh hoarsely.
"Okay, I'm satisfied with the answer… Oh," the cheerful person says and softly moans when Tinn's big hand moves to grab Khaen's member through his pants, until Khaen can only suck in his breath again.
"Stop asking stupid questions and come and focus on this," Tinn says in a heavy voice.
Tinn continues leaning down to lick the white chest, continuously arousing the areola, while Khaen himself makes a soft moan when arching his chest towards him, the other hand flicking to lightly ruffle his partner's hair, as if to relieve the lust that is continuously rising.
"Actually, I'm excited, you know."
"Hm?" Tinn looks up again, looking at the person who is laughing shyly, and who says in a more shy voice than usual.
"Honestly, I'm thinking about what you said about choosing to love me, and I'm excited. Look, mine is already this size, so I'm rambling to cover my embarrassment," Kirakorn says while pointing at what remains in his pants, and it seems that such words... can really arouse the man on top, so Khaen carefully pulls his pants off, letting the thing inside come out and play outside.
"Do not stare. I have told you that I am embarrassed."
The non-talkative one replies, "Well, you are adorable."
Hmnh?
"Ah!!!" At that moment, Khaen is startled, his hand gripping Tinn hair tighter as warm lips move down his body and then cover his erection, his eyes widening in shock, ready to shift away, for he remembers it well...
Etches in his mind...
"M-maybe you do not have to... ah... You do not like licking... I know... no need to lick... Ai'Tinn," Khaen says with a trembling voice, as Tinn has never done this for him before.
He probably thinks it is dirty? Khaen does not mind. To expect Khun-chai to lower himself to this would ruin his image. Now though, Tinn is licking, sucking and nibbling gently, sending shivers up Khaen's arms, his heart pounding.
"Ai… Huh… Ai'Tinn... D-do not... Hsss... It feels so damn good!" Yet, the one trying to push him away can only moan as waves of bliss envelop his body, his half-closed eyes looking down at the one who indulges him without a hint of disgust.
"Ah... mm..." Khaen releases his hand to grip the bedsheet, just as the other begins to press the tip of his finger, slowly gliding it along Khaen's crease before pushing inside, making Khaen squeeze his eyes shut. He immediately feels the familiar sensation of friction—the kind of friction that will soon transform into pleasure in just a few minutes.
"M-m-you... mmnh..."
"Does it hurt?"
"No!" Khaen shakes his head firmly, watching as the other withdraws from the heated core of his body, reaching toward the headboard to grab the supplies they have stocked up on.
Tinn applies the cool, slippery liquid, then presses his fingertip back inside, stretching the passage in a rhythm that makes Khaen tilt his head back.
"Mmh... so damn good. I... ah... I really like it," the recipient confesses openly, as his hips are pushed up, lifting him higher. Tinn kneels, pressing his fingers inside repeatedly, his sharp gaze fixed on Khaen's pale face, twisted in trembling pleasure.
"Khaen."
"Mm."
"Play with your chest a little," requests Khun-chai, and Khaen opens his eyes, meeting his gaze without protest. He raises his hand, pinching one small peak at the center of his chest, squeezing and rolling it while biting his lip with mounting desire—a sight that makes the one above clench his jaw tightly, unable to take his eyes off the person arousing him more than anyone else ever has.
Though Khaen is a man, to the observer, this body stirs feelings of desire more than anyone else ever has. At this moment, Khaen's expression reveals his pleasure, repeatedly inhaling sharply, his two hands gripping and kneading his own flat chest. His skin flushes with color, slick with sweat, while the warm, tight passage eagerly grips Tinn's fingers, nearly driving him insane.
"I can't take it anymore," Tinn finally says, his voice trembling, eliciting a smile from the one below.
"I never told you... t-to endure... a single word," Khaen replies, words more potent than any aphrodisiac.
Tinn's jaw tightens further as he quickly puts on a condom, then positions Khaen face down.
Thud.
In this posture, Khaen grips the headboard tightly, arching his back as if instinctively aware of what is about to happen.
Thrust.
"Ah... mm... Ai'Tinn, haah... you are so damn hot..." The moment the intense heat penetrates him, Khaen lets out a moan mixed with laughter, closing his eyes to embrace the firm warmth that is pressing inside him.
Though it hurts at first, now it feels like a fulfillment.
As Tinn pushes all the way in, Khaen feels a strong embrace surrounding him from behind and Tinn's face pressing against his sweaty back. Then Tinn's hips begin to move slowly, and it is so arousing that Khaen grips the bed frame tightly.
"Harder than this... is fine, you know..."
Hmnh...
In response, Tinn increases his thrusts, the hot shaft rubbing against the soft walls, pressing repeatedly at the same spot as Khaen braces himself. Low moans escape him in waves, prompting Tinn to thrust even harder, his embrace tightening around him. Meanwhile, Khaen feels the bliss of their closeness.
Slap... slap...
Uuhm... what... is wet...? Clear droplets hit his back, prompting Khaen to turn and look, only to see the dark hair buried against him, accompanied by heavy breaths and muffled sobs.
"I love... you... I love you."
Even though he is somewhat naive, in that moment, Khaen instantly understands why Tinn is crying.
"I... love you too…" ah... haah… Kirakorn realizes that Tinn is desperately clinging to him, as if wanting to ensure that even if the whole world turns its back, there will always be one person who will never leave.
"Go ahead and cry... to hell with the whole world... just be weak in front of me... that's enough," the almond-eyed man says firmly, mixed with heavy breaths, prompting Tinn to raise his tear-streaked face.
For many years, he has not cried in front of anyone, but he is willing to make an exception for this one person.
"Don't leave me," pleads the one who usually stands taller than anyone else, now willing to set everything aside to ask. This makes Khaen reach back to grasp his chin tightly, declaring...
"I will never leave you."
That alone... is enough for someone who has sought happiness their entire life.
It does not matter that his parents are indifferent. It does not matter that his older brother wants to get rid of him. It does not matter about anything else—just Khaen... Kirakorn alone.
"If you want to hear it... I'll tell you... every single day... I love you, Ai'Tinn."
Grab.
"Aah!" Khaen gasps as Tinn's hands clutch his hips, and the force from behind him drives him forward, rocking his body with intensity. Yet, Ai'Khaen doesn't protest. Instead, he moves in sync, matching the rhythm that only the two of them know.
Then, amidst this, he hears a voice that once scorned the entire world.
"I love you... love you..."
It's a declaration from someone who once defied everything but has now discovered where happiness lies.
"Ah... aah... damn... you... you're going too hard... haa... steady," Khaen protests when Tinn's pace intensifies.
Yet, the fullness that overtakes Khaen draws a raw cry from deep within as he buries his face into the pillow, gripping the sheets with his toes pressing down against the bed, responding with each thrust as Tinn's warmth drives deeper.
"I... I can't... you... I can't hold it any longer..." Khaen murmurs into the pillow as he releases, leaving the bed sheets stained.
Meanwhile, Tinn quickens his movements until, soon enough, he too reaches his peak, releasing every last feeling he holds. Then…
Grip.
It's Tinn who turns Khaen onto his back, gripping his ankles firmly, pushing forward again as if to say... once isn't enough.
"Once more... let me have more..." Tinn asks breathlessly, receiving a worn smile from Khaen in return.
"Go ahead... hav... as much as... aah... you want."
Simple words, but Tinn knows this is what Khaen means: Do whatever you need to reassure yourself that... Ai'Khaen is here.
And in the echoes of their shared cries, Tinn feels a singular emotion welling up within him... gratitude.
Gratitude for being given love, for being held so closely. Gratitude for this flawed world that has still allowed him to meet the man named Ai'Khaen... the most wonderful person he could have ever known.
The end-of-term exams conclude as swiftly as if one were sitting in Doraemon's time machine.
Now, the Thai students are off for the long break, delighted by a major change—the term reopening has been postponed. However, while most are quite happy with the five-month holiday ahead, there is one student who… is bored out of his damn mind.
"I'm bored, I'm so boredddd. Bored, bored, bored! You hear me? I am booored!"
In the heart of a popular city mall, a handsome Italian-blooded young man is shouting loudly in a fast-food restaurant. Across from him are a group of close friends who, having time to spare, decided to join him for some air conditioning, including…
Ai'Sun, the mischief-making best friend.
Ai'Dieo, the principled one (who said he came to save on air conditioning costs).
Ai'Mai, the tough guy whose nickname speaks for itself.
And Ai'Ae… who's there following his romantic partner.
Yes, Ai'Ae wasn't particularly interested in spending the break with his buddies; he just wanted to meet up with his partner, who's sitting tightly beside him (still handsome as ever), sipping his drink.
"Quit being so annoying, Ai'Pond," Ae even has the nerve to turn and scold him, leaving Master Pond pouting in indignation.
"Indeed, you can enter and exit your partner's house whenever, right? As for me, I have been on break for a month, and I have only seen Khun-nu twice—just twice, you know? I do not understand why her father is so protective. It is merely going out to eat. He even delivers her right to the front of the mall. I am stiff here." The man complains.
"Gah, I truly feel sorry for you!" Sun says with delight before he begins to boast.
"Well, I will tell you to be jealous. My partner has not gone home during this break. Last night was so soft and sweet that now he is still lazily lying in bed." And the reward for showing off his partner is a pointed middle finger from the one who has not seen his partner.
"Ai'Chan is boasting. Ai'Ae, you should boast as well. I am curious about you and P'Pete..."
"Shut up, you bloody fucking cur!"
"Are you cursing at me? Shall we fight?" Mai turns to smile provocatively, which makes Ae glare back. Both sides stare at each other, but before a fight can ensue, another voice interrupts.
"By the way, where has Ai'Dīe gone?" This question makes everyone turn to look at Sun as if they all know that he knows best.
"He just returned from Japan. He is sorting out matters at home." Sun replies. However, for the group of friends who meddle in each other's affairs...
"Let us commend his partner, who flew all the way to Japan. Well, it is good that their story ends beautifully. I am too lazy to console that immature kid." Mai says while shrugging, then adds,
"By the way, what are you all doing for Songkran this year? Are you coming to drink?" This fellow is always ready to drink for every festival, from weddings to ordinations.
When this topic arises, Pond immediately raises his head and excitedly exclaims,
"Silom, everyone! This year, we play in Silom... you are coming too, Ai'Pete." He then turns to the one quietly sipping his drink, P'Pete, who has never truly celebrated Songkran, just looks back and gazes at his partner as if asking how he should respond.
This action makes Dīe chuckle softly.
"You have a good partner, Ai'Ae. I ask honestly, what merit did you perform? I want to do the same; it seems worthwhile." This person constantly thinks about benefits and costs, prompting the listener to sigh and not respond, instead turning to speak with his own partner.
"Whatever you like. Are you coming to join us? But you must stay by my side." Inthach adds a little extra emphasis at the end, making his friends jeer and laugh, teasing that Ai'Ae is fiercely possessive of his partner. Upon hearing this, Pete nods slowly.
"Yes…but we have never celebrated that way before."
"It is all right; I will handle it." The response from the short young man brings a smile to Pete's face, but after a brief moment, he sighs softly, speaking in a quiet voice.
"But, after that, well…" These are words Ae understands, as this matter has already been discussed.
"After that, what?" Naturally, Pond cannot resist asking, prompting Pete to give a faint, slightly awkward smile.
"After Songkran, I have to fly to Germany to visit my father for two weeks…"
"Pick up some stuff from Clinique!" Before he can finish speaking, a certain stingy fellow interrupts, leaving the entire group puzzled—especially since the one who made the request is none other than Ai'Nge Dieo (Stingy-Dieo).
"Clinique? The shampoo, right? You can just buy that at 7-Eleven!" Mai laughs uproariously, causing Dieo to glare at him with scorn.
"Clinique, Ai'Mai, not Clinic. It is cosmetics, not shampoo." Dieo finishes and turns to Pete once more, eyes glinting with excitement.
"You will not charge for carrying it back, right? We can resell it."
Thud!
"You miser!!!" Dieo manages to say only that before his head is pushed hard against the table by his partner, who had to hear that ridiculous request. But Dieo is unfazed, already calling friends to see if anyone wants cheaper cosmetics than those in the country, as Pete himself chuckles.
"Yes, I will not charge a fee." This answer earns a thumbs-up from Dieo, who immediately sets off on his no-cost profit-making endeavor, while Ae sighs as he watches his handsome partner catch the gazes of several onlookers.
"Make it a quick trip and hurry back," he says, and Pete nods emphatically, nearly visible to everyone in the shop.
A slight blush seems to spread across his cheeks when…
"Why must you rush back?" Sun begins to tease, and Ai'Pond jumps in immediately.
"Because I miss you, smooch-smooch." With that, the two of them clasp hands and lean their heads together, so much so that Ae feels like snapping a picture to show their partners. In the end, though, he lets it go, allowing them to joke to their hearts' content while he watches Pete quietly.
Two weeks…it is better than letting him visit his father over the month-long break. It is only two weeks, Ai'Ae.
