Perspective - Third Person
"I'm going to shower first."
"Okay, go ahead. So, what are we eating tonight?"
"I'll stir-fry some rice for you. I already cooked some earlier."
"Alright, Ae."
If words could convey emotions, Pitchaya would likely feel that every one of his sentences had a little "^^" emoticon behind it as the tall, handsome young man sat cross-legged on the sofa, watching his romantic partner in sportswear walking into the bedroom, with a smile lifting his lips.
Ae is staying over. Ae is staying over. Ae is staying over tonight!
Pete thought as he hugged a cushion tightly, looking over to the small kitchen where Ae had just set up the rice cooker, smiling again at the thought that today they would be together... alone.
Khun-chai Pete might not be the kind of selfish person who always wants to be with his romantic partner. However, after not spending time alone together for weeks, and considering that he was a guy, there have to be some expectations about how the night will go.
Ae is even going to cook stir-fried rice for me!
For other people, it might be a small thing, but for people in love, it's always a big deal. Just hearing Ae say he'll cook stir-fried rice is enough to make the one who'll eat it smile wide.
"I'm so happy," he murmurs softly, hugging the cushion even tighter, feeling so full of joy that he's afraid it might suffocate him.
Creeeak.
So, even when his phone rings, he keeps smiling as he pulls it out to look at the screen. Seeing who has messaged him makes his smile grow even wider.
"Delee, Delee, Delee, Delee…"
The excitement makes him type his friend's name multiple times until she sends back a sticker of a bear laughing.
"I'm so happy…"
"Eeh, do you have any good news to share?"
His close friend replies, making him want to tell someone about his joy. But he knows well that this is something he should keep a secret. Even though Delee is the woman he's closest to, second only to his mother, it doesn't mean he should go around telling her everything. Not to mention, she's also close with his grandmother.
"I'm just happy you messaged me, Delee…"
"Saying that makes me blush…"
As soon as he reads that, Pete laughs brightly, completely unaware of something hidden within every sentence Delee sends.
"Now I just really want to see you, Pete…"
"Pete, you're coming to our grandmother's birthday party, right?"
"You have to come."
"If you don't come, I'll really sulk."
"We haven't seen each other at all."
The young man laughs at how quickly his friend bombards him with messages, making it hard to reply in time. He simply tells her...
"Of course, I'm definitely going. I want to see Grandma and see you too, Delee."
After all, Delee is an important friend for someone like him who doesn't have many friends.
"Ai'Pete, I'm done showering. You should shower too. I'll fry some rice for us." However, before Pete can chat with his friend any further, the one who was showering quickly steps out, prompting the one staring at his phone to put it down immediately.
"Sure."
"What are you smiling about?"
"Uh, nothing." Although he denies it, as soon as he touches his lips, Pete realizes he is indeed smiling. That kind of smile makes Ae wave him over.
"Yeah?" The handsome partner walks over to the shorter guy willingly.
Grab.
"Ugh, Ae, ow! Ae, that hurts... ugh... stop already, that's too much..."
As soon as he reaches the arm's length, Ae grabs the other's neck and pulls him closer, using his other hand to pinch his soft cheek playfully. Not stopping there, he presses the tip of his nose against the white cheek several times or presses his lips hard against the skin until the recipient can only protest.
"It tickles! Stay still so I can tease you properly," Ae says, pulling him closer again while continuing the same antics, even moving to the white neck, unable to resist pinching it hard.
"Haha! Ae, that tickles! Stop... um... stop already..." Eventually, Pete groans softly when Ae's warm tongue lightly licks the soft spot of his neck, and that sound is loud enough for Ae to finally let go.
"Go take a shower so we can eat together."
"Okay, okay, I'm going." The listener immediately agrees, fearing things might escalate, especially since he hasn't showered yet. He doesn't want to be the only smelly one on the bed.
Smack!
"Ow!"
"That tickles!"
"Ae, you're teasing me!"
How can Pete not protest when the other person plays with him so much that he jumps back in surprise? He turns to see the mischievous one smiling widely, saying it tickles, prompting him to rush into the bedroom and peek out.
"You cheater!"
"Are you talking about me?"
"No way!" As soon as Pete sees Ae about to walk over, the one being accused quickly ducks into the bathroom, amid the low laughter of the cheerful guest who feels the same.
Who wouldn't be in a good mood being with their romantic partner?
The thought crosses Ae's mind as he skillfully prepares dinner for two, living up to being the son of a restaurant owner. Soon, the fragrant fried rice fills the plate, accompanied by sliced cucumbers adorning the dish. While Ae hesitates over whether to fry the Chinese sausage his mother sent as another side dish, the sound of a notification draws his attention.
It's Pete's phone. Ae walks over to pick it up, just noticing it's vibrating because he turned on the vacuum earlier and didn't hear it. He intends to shout to the person in the room but stops when he sees numerous messages piling up on the screen.
The short guy glances at the bedroom door and then back at the phone, swiping his finger down to view the alert notifications. He doesn't even need to unlock the device to see what the other person has sent to Pete.
"So, Pete is definitely coming, right? Grandma will be so happy"
"Pete buys a birthday gift for Grandma on our behalf"
"Let's give it together like we used to"
"Oh, I've invited Aunt Patcharaporn, and she agreed"
"Our families haven't gathered like this for a long time, huh"
"I miss the old days so much"
"What am I daydreaming about alone? Hehe…"
"Anyway, come with me to buy gifts, okay?"
Many messages follow with several stickers, but Ae doesn't think to check them. He just places the phone back where it was.
"Ahh, I feel so refreshed. It's really hot today, isn't it, Ae?" At the same moment, the phone's owner walks out with a towel draped over his shoulder, and his handsome face that Ae finds adorable is beaming with a wide smile.
"Yeah, it's hot today."
"Ae, is something wrong?"
"No." Ae doesn't know what expression he is showing, but Pete seems to notice something, prompting the question. Ae shakes his head, then walks over to bring the plates of rice and sets them down in front of the television.
"I'll pour us some water."
"Your friend... probably Delee. I saw a notification pop up."
"Oh, Delee invited me to her grandma's birthday... Delee's grandma," Pete replies casually as he goes to pour the water and then returns to sit next to his romantic partner on the sofa.
"Your family is really close with Delee's, aren't they?"
"Yeah, very. Well, if you mean our grandmas, they are. Actually, my dad is friends with Delee's dad. But, as I've told you before, after my parents divorce, I don't really meet up with them anymore. Only Delee and I still stay in touch... Buying a gift for her grandma, though, that's tricky," Pete says, pulling out his phone and murmuring to himself.
"Looks like I'm free this Saturday," he adds, still not looking over at Ae while typing his reply to his friend.
Grab.
"Eat your food before it gets cold," Ae's large hand grabs Pete's phone, pulling it away and replacing it with the plate of rice, leaving Pete staring back in confusion.
"Um, is something bothering you, Ae?" However, Pete is still quick enough to catch the other's feelings.
"No, just eat." When his romantic partner replies with a curt tone, Khun-chai Pete can only lower his head to eat, even though he glances over several times. The atmosphere had been relaxed and surrounded by happiness, yet it transforms into a pressure that makes eating uncomfortable.
Clink... clang.
After that, the only sounds both of them hear are the clinking of utensils against the plates and the television that Pete turns on to ease the tension. It isn't until the rice is nearly finished that this question arises.
"Can you not go?" Ae asks.
"Excuse me?" The listener turns to look immediately, noticing the sharp eyes that seem somewhat annoyed.
"Can you not go with Delee?" Pete starts to sense that Ae is feeling jealous. Even though he doesn't want to cause any conflict, he shakes his head.
"Delee is my friend."
"I know. I know you see her as a friend..."
How do you not realize that she doesn't see you as just a friend?
The last thought, Inthach can only tell himself internally as he places the empty plate down, but he still insists on the same point.
"I don't want to meddle in your personal affairs, okay? If you want to go to that lady's grandma's party, then go ahead. I understand. However, I don't want you to go shopping with Delee alone..."
"Then Ae should come with me," Pete suggests, looking for a way out, but the listener shakes his head.
"I'm not free on Saturday, and I don't want to meet your friend." Being straightforward, Ae directly expresses his thoughts, which immediately leaves Pete speechless. He can't eat, so he sets the plate down beside him and turns to look fully at Ae.
"Ae, Delee is my friend. She's a close friend. She's one of the few who still sees my mother the same way after she divorced my dad. She's one of the few who still visits us, even knowing my mother doesn't have the same last name as my dad anymore. Delee is my friend, and I haven't seen her since my mother's birthday. If she asks for help, I want to help her as much as I can."
Pete speaks with reason, and Ae listens rationally, but sometimes reason doesn't apply when it comes to love.
Love makes many rational arguments fall apart, especially regarding jealousy.
"Never mind. If you want to go, then go. I can't stop you," Ae says, behaving like someone who never thinks he would act this way as he stands up to wash his plate, leaving Pete in stunned silence.
"Ae, you have no reason."
Whip.
The short man turns around immediately, his sharp eyes gleaming before he speaks in a low voice.
"Yeah, I have no reason. When it comes to you, I never have any reason!" If it were a normal time, Pete would probably be pleased to hear this.
Since both of their emotions are flaring up though, Pitchaya bites his lip tightly and lets slip, "What about Chomphu?"
"What does Chomphu have to do with this?"
It's said that when couples argue, issues involving exes often resurface in an unforgiving manner. This makes Ae grimace, genuinely confused about why the situation with Chomphu hasn't ended yet.
"Ae still sees Nong Chomphu, too."
"Ai'Pete, I don't want to see her. She comes to see me herself, and she studies here, so we just run into each other... that's all," Ae says with a heavy tone, causing Pete to turn his face away.
"I don't like you being with Nong Chomphu either. You know she likes you, but I try not to say anything. For me, Delee is just a friend. Just a friend, okay?"
"But she likes you!"
"Ae is just imagining things," the taller one retorts instantly, prompting Pete to curse quietly at how the argument escalates.
"I don't think about Chomphu at all!"
"And I don't think about Delee!"
The stubbornness of the soft-headed guy makes Ae curse even more, then he turns back to wash the dishes, as if signaling that he won't continue the conversation because he fears he might lose his temper. He feels a mix of displeasure, annoyance, and anger.
Why does Pete argue with him over Delee when he's not usually like this?
The more he thinks, the more Inthach clenches his fists so tightly that if the plates weren't thick porcelain, they might crack in his grip.

That night, on the bed where they should be embracing and teasing each other, talking about anything before sleep, they both lie with their backs turned to each other. Yet... neither can fall asleep.
One may love their partner dearly, but they also want to prioritize only a few important people in their life. While one understands this, they cannot suppress the overwhelming feelings of jealousy that arise. In the end, however, Ae turns back to look at the person wrapped in blankets up to his neck.
Grip.
Even when Ae reaches out to hug him, the gentleman remains still, not turning to look back. This prompts the football player to push himself up to meet his gaze, noticing that Pete has his eyes closed, yet his tightly pressed lips indicate that he is not truly asleep.
"Ai'Pete, I... sigh..." The young man exhales heavily as he moves closer, their faces nearing one another. His shapely lips touch the corner of Pete's mouth, causing the latter to open his eyes.
"I'm sorry."
"..."
Even after receiving the apology, the listener remains silent. This leads the shorter man to lean down and kiss Pete's lips again, attempting to make amends. The gentle kiss, however, goes unanswered, causing a slight irritation. Thus, the warm lips press harder, more insistently, as Ae tries to slip his tongue inside.
The action makes the person below tilt his face away, if not for Ae holding his chin in place.
Kiss... Kiss... Smooch...
The series of kisses eventually coax Pete to part his lips, accepting the warm tip of Ae's tongue that slips inside, allowing his own tongue to brush lightly in response, as if he is still not entirely forgiving. Yet that is enough for the more robust partner to intensify his touches, demanding the intertwining of their tongues as the sound of exchanged saliva breaks the silence.
Squish.
The mouth continues to deliver searing sensations as both hands work to unbutton the pajamas of the person beneath him, slipping inside to touch the smooth, pale skin that feels different today—not gentle like usual.
"Ugh, Ae... it hurts," the fair-skinned one tilts his face away, but that only opens the way for the other to bury his face in the soft neck, using his mouth to bite down on the delicate flesh, prompting a soft protest. However, the one causing it does not stop, leaving heavy marks of possession all over the neck.
Grip.
Pete almost immediately lifts his head as the large hand slips into his pajama pants, feeling the hardness that has been awakened by long-lost touches. The hot lips return, sealing against his, making it impossible for him to do anything but moan softly as he receives the heated tongue, which today feels more intense than ever.
The jealousy that had emerged now manifests physically against this slender body.
Flick.
The pajama pants are quickly pulled away as Ae climbs up his body, laying heavy kisses along the way. At the same time, the large hand slips beneath the underwear, touching the heated hardness and holding it tightly.
Swoosh.
"Ae, don't..." Pete can only wince, pressing his lips together tightly as Ae's touch turns rough, pulling and stroking quickly enough to sting a little.
However, the football player does not relent. He pulls Pete's searing hot heat into his own warm mouth. This makes Pete bite down hard and clutch the bedspread until it wrinkles.
Ae's warm tongue licks along Pete's length, sucking heavily at the tip repeatedly, causing Pete to bite his lip even tighter. He feels though that this time is different. While Ae has been rough with him before, he can sense that today, the gentleness he usually receives is absent. Instead, it feels as if Ae is pouring out his anger in this way.
Flick.
Thus, Pete can only bite down on his lip tightly as his toes are pushed up, nearly pressing against his torso, while the hot tongue brushes against his rear entrance, licking vigorously and causing his body to twist and writhe, forcing him to let out uncontrollable moans. Pete trembles, as the heated tongue presses in lightly.
"Ae... ugh... wait... I... Ah..."
Swoosh.
However, the cries are drowned out by the sound of fingers pushing into the tight passage that hasn't been used in over two weeks, sending a sharp pain coursing through Pete, making him grip the pillow tightly. He shakes his head in discomfort, though that discomfort quickly transforms into a tingling sensation as the one who knows his body better than he does searches for that sensitive spot within.
"Ah... ugh... huhu..."
When it is found, Pete can only moan in response, grabbing his own knees and holding them wide apart.
Throughout, Ae says nothing, merely reaching for a bottle of lotion and squeezing it onto the tight entrance, slipping in an additional finger, feeling the heavy contractions from the one who breathes heavily. Pete's white skin glistens with sweat, as does Ae's, who, despite being fully dressed, feels drenched.
"Ugh... ah... Ae... Ae..." the one beneath softly moans as the fingertips are pressed deeply inside, his handsome face contorting under the weight of desire.
Then, at that moment, Pete tenses up as the long fingers are pulled out, knowing what is about to happen. He grips the folds of his knees even tighter as Ae pulls down his own pajamas to his hips, sliding them down a few times until the heat and hardness push against the entrance.
Swoosh.
"Ugh... Ah... Ae, please..." The one who bites his lip can only moan as the searing heat slips inside him, aided by the slickness of the lotion that allows it to push deeper... deeper... until it fully penetrates, amidst the heavy breaths of both.
Thud.
The one on top leans down, resting on his elbows on the bed, while the other hand brushes aside the hair that falls across his handsome face, revealing his glistening eyes.
Pete speaks in a tone of pouting annoyance, "Ae... you're being mean."
"I can be much meaner," the deep voice whispers softly before his hips start to move, causing Pete to bite his lip even harder, feeling the intense, uncomfortable heat thrusting in aggressively.
"Ha... it... Ae... Ae... Ugh... not so... much... please... don't..."
Not only does Ae start moving though, he also thrusts heavily, hitting that sensitive spot inside Pete, making him writhe and arch his back as he gasps with each powerful thrust.
Instead of easing up, Ae grips Pete tighter, pushing his hips higher, driving deeper... faster... until Pete is nearly breathless.
"Ha... A-Ae... Ugh... h-that's... it..."
Though he knows it feels different this time, his body responds instinctively as he pulls Ae down to share a heated kiss, fully accepting the relentless thrusts that continue without pause.
Grab.
"Ugh... Ha..." After that, Ae grips the shaft of his handsome partner tightly, stroking it forcefully until Pete gasps, letting clear fluid spill over the edges of his mouth as the peak of their heat arrives.
Thud. Thud. Thud.
Ae thrusts harder, and Pete's moans become rapid, signaling that he can no longer hold back. It doesn't take long for the fair-skinned one to release a cloudy white substance, unable to endure any longer. Although Ae has never let anything inside before, this time...
Splash!
Gasp!!!
"Ugh!!!" The warm liquid floods inside Pete, making him jump as Ae breathes heavily, slowly pulling out while gazing at the exhausted figure lying before him. Pete still opens his eyes to look, his hoarse voice quivering.
"You are satisfied now... right, Ae?" The words come from the one who shifts to lay at the edge of the bed, weary, pulling the blanket up to his neck.
The listener can only gulp, as Ae knows very well that just moments ago, his actions stemmed purely from jealousy, expressing everything that Pete belongs to him and punishing him for not listening.
Meanwhile, a muffled sound escapes Pete's lips. "Still, Delee is my friend."
That causes Ae to flop onto the other side of the bed, hand covering his forehead, and of course... He cannot sleep.
Who would believe they would fight over something like this?
~~~
"P'Type! Today I'm going to watch a movie!"
"Yeah, you've told me that ten times already."
"It's a private cinema, Phii! In the basement. The chairs are leather and adjustable, and food and drinks are free! Are you jealous?"
"Yeah, I'm jealous."
"Come on! Be jealous with some feeling, Phii Type!"
Right now, everyone on the football team probably feels the same... annoyed by the Pheuak Monkey.
The monkey who’s been running around shouting about how he’s going to watch a movie this afternoon. So, showing up at the football field isn’t about practice; it’s just because this is the meetup spot. The rest of the team, drenched in sweat, glance at him with a hint of spite.
You’re not even a starter—could you at least put in some effort like Ai Ae?
If today Ai'Khaen acts annoyingly, Ai'Ae is acting like someone to keep distance from... arriving before everyone else, practicing seriously, not talking, not joking around with anyone. Just now Type wishes Ai'Pond would show up at the university during the break because at least there would be someone who knows how to deal with this first-year main player.
Type asks Khaen, "Do you know what's up with Ai'Ae?"
"It's Ai'Ae, sir!" It's the same. Even the team captain, Techno, walks over to ask, but before Type can respond, that Pheuak Monkey, who is running around the field like a restless child, shouts back while performing a traditional Thai greeting, causing both listeners to glance at each other.
"Do you think like me, Type? That today, I wanted to eat the monkey's brain."
“Don’t. I think it’s full of parasites. Better cook it first…” Type finishes his quip, and both seniors turn to look at the troublemaker who’s been a nuisance since morning.
“Get over here and let me kick you!” With that, they begin chasing the guy who sees the danger and bolts to the other side of the field.
"AAAGGGHH! Sorry, sorry! I am sorry! I didn't know what is up with Ai'Ae either! If you want to know, go ask him! Why are you asking me? I didn't do anything wrong!" he shouts while running.
Of course, Ai'Ae hears him and turns to look at the seniors, who quickly avert their eyes. Just as Ai'Khaen is about to run over and ask his friend what's going on, the seniors surround him. At that moment...
"Ai'Khaen-ta-lup!"
Whip!
The jealous guy (who the oblivious target of his jealousy has no idea about) shouts Khaen’s full name loud enough to make him spin around, almond eyes widening to double their size.
"Hey!!! You fucking shit-lizard!!!" He only yells and then runs toward Tinn, who is standing with his arms crossed, watching. Of course, who told Tinn it was OK to call my real name in the middle of the football field!?!
So, without waiting for Tinn to pull him back, Ai'Khaen nearly yanks his shirt off to run in the opposite direction before the seniors can ask who Ai'Khaen-ta-lup is.
Meanwhile, Type watches the junior's retreating figure and looks at the person who came to take him away.
“That kid, huh? I met him at the market once. He glared at me like I’d insulted his father,” Techno says as if recalling something, making his best friend raise an eyebrow briefly before bursting into laughter.
"What's wrong, Type?" The question comes as the listener waves his hand as if not wanting to answer, but when he turns back into the field, he says playfully, "You get what you hate. It seems this phrase can apply in every era."
It’s a line that even the seniors, glancing briefly, understand immediately.
With Kirakorn though, if no one spells it out for him directly, he might never figure out why Tinn shouted his full name so loudly in the middle of the field.
