Inside the eye-soothing green bedroom, one figure was sleeping with eyes gently closed on a soft bed, flanked by two pillows, breathing in and out with a steady rhythm. There was no sign of waking up to greet the new day's dawn, and it would likely remain so for many hours, if not for the phone ringing loudly, destroying the silence suitable for rest.

But the sleeper barely moved his body, only a pale hand groped for the phone that he had fallen asleep with.

“Mmm, hello?”

The owner of the device used his special ability to slide the screen to answer without opening his eyes, then put it to his ear, making a groggy sound to let the caller know he was being disturbed, and it would be great if he hung up quickly.

[It's morning in Thailand already. Still not awake, Rain?]

“Is that Mâe?”

[It's your Bpǎa, perhaps.]

Damn! The Máa who was touring Europe with the Phô spoke sarcastically, making Rain try to open his heavy, drowsy eyes to look at the time, only to find it was just past seven o'clock.

“What is it, Mâe?”

[You can wake up now, you sleepyhead youth. You'll be late for class soon.]

“Mmm, Máa, I only got to sleep after four AM last night.”

[Don't talk to Máa expecting sympathy. You were playing games, weren't you? Not doing homework.]

The listener wanted to defend himself, but he was so sleepy. He had almost died trying to clear the level last night. It seemed the person on the other side of the world knew her son's nature well, so she got to the point.

[Máa is calling to ask about the car. Did the mechanic say what was broken? And how much is the repair cost?]

When the topic of the car came up, the newly awakened person began to see the light. He made a grimace, not because he was so full of dignity that he wouldn't accept free things, but just thinking about who had repaired it for free put him in a bad mood. His reply was therefore both short and blunt.

“Not much money.”

He was too lazy to say it was repaired for free, otherwise the other side would start asking why it was free, this and that. And if they found out the garage that repaired it belonged to a senior, Rain knew that someone like his Mâe would definitely want to go meet him, want to give gifts in return, want to thank him properly. So better not to tell. Consider it not lying, just not telling the whole story.

[Okay, okay. Máa won't bother you anymore. Go back to sleep. And go to class, okay? Just because Bpǎa and Máa aren't here doesn't mean you can skip. If your grades aren't good this semester, Bpǎa will take the car back. Máa is telling you now.]

“Yeeesss. Okay, that's all then. Sweet dreams,” the speaker quickly changed the subject when grades were mentioned, said in a coaxing tone, and hung up immediately, not listening to his Máa continue to complain.

After that... he threw the phone away and pulled the covers over his head.

So sleepy!

Rain might be a game-addicted youth, but he knew his limits well, how much he should play. But these past few days, he hadn't been sleeping well. As soon as he closed his eyes, his brain kept thinking about that evil-natured Rahad senior and methods of revenge. Thinking too much, he'd lie awake, so he got up to play games to relieve stress. Once he started playing, he got absorbed, so lately he'd been walking to the faculty with drowsy eyes, letting the seniors tease him about fully embracing the architecture student lifestyle. He just smiled lazily in response.

No, I'm not working. I'm just being useless. So now I'm still sleepy... I should go back to sleep. What am I waiting for?

The thought of the person who turned over to hug a pillow, burying his face in the soft pillow, until his eyes began to grow heavy and close again.

Just half an hour, then.

“Damn!”

The person who was about to sleep cursed, his hand going to search for the phone again. His fingers slid to answer quickly. No matter how annoyed, he could guess who was calling.

“What is it now, Mâe? Rain is sleepy.”

“Mâe, don't be silent. Please, Rain is really sleepy.” He said in a coaxing tone, still not thinking of opening his eyes.

[Heh heh.]

Hmm?!

But the sound that came wasn't the sound of his Máa complaining, but a soft laugh that made him open his eyes wide, sitting up bolt upright like a bee sting. He pulled the phone away from his ear to see who it was. The name displayed on the screen made Rain's mouth fall open...

...That despicable-person!

“Why are you calling me?”

[Not going to coax anymore? I was enjoying it.]

“Who's coaxing you?!” Rain retorted angrily, even though his cheeks were starting to flush red, just thinking about what tone of voice he had used just now... damn coaxing!

[Some youth around here, I suppose.]

The youth's mouth itched to argue, but his brain wasn't working. Whatever he said would probably just backfire, so he asked bluntly.

“What do you want?”

[That's not very polite.]

“Why should I be polite to you?”

[Is your memory that short? Phîi thought Phîi was clear. Or do I need to refresh your memory?]

“Refresh what memory? I've already paid! That day you grabbed...” The sleepy person inadvertently retorted, then found he had dug his own grave. He could only raise a hand and clap it over his own mouth loudly. The person on the other end of the line heard and burst out in an amused laugh. Rain therefore complained irritably.

“What's so funny?”

[Want to know?]

Once again, the youth fell silent, because the soft tone tickled his ears so much that his instinct warned him not to be curious about this man's heart. It would be better to hang up as quickly as possible.

“So what do you want, exactly?” If it was about the car, they could still talk. But if he was calling to annoy him, he'd throw the damn thing away.

[Nothing much. Just calling to tell you that Phîi never lets anyone escape a debt. Don't forget the repair cost.]

“Hey! But you said you wouldn't charge! Phîi Payu! Phîi Payu!!!”

Once again, the other end hung up first, leaving the youth on this end to complain to his phone, not understanding what other repair cost there was. He wanted to call back to talk it out, but on second thought, better not. If he called back and the other agreed, and he insisted, it would be worse. Hanging up and leaving it like this was better.

“You've lost your chance to get my money.”

Since he said himself there was no charge, he wouldn't agree to pay back retroactively either. It's over, it's over. Clear?

The thought of the person now fully awake, throwing off the blanket, and getting up to go to the bathroom in a gloomy mood, about the same as the outside sky which was overcast as if it would rain. If Rain had observed a bit more, he would have known he'd be better off staying home to avoid the rain, because today... a storm was likely approaching.

The said storm was laughing heartily, until his twin, who was eating breakfast, glanced at his face.

“You're in a good mood lately.”

“Not as good as you.”

“Of course. People in love are so refreshed,” Sai-fah, the young engineer who was the younger twin, said happily. Even though they were said to be twins, the two had almost nothing alike.

While Payu had long hair reaching his shoulders and a clean-shaven face, with only some stubble that he shaved off every few days, Sai-fah was a man with short hair, a thick beard and mustache, and a uniquely loud voice befitting the name his parents gave him. Moreover, their personalities were polar opposites. If they weren't told they were twins, no one would believe it.

“Find a real one sometime. How many years have you been single?” the twin said jokingly, but he stalled when his brother smiled.

“Wait a minute. Hey! You Payu, is there something you're not telling me?”

“If it's true, I'll tell you. I'm off. I have a site meeting with a client this morning.” Payu said only that, got up from the table, went to grab his bag, and stepped out of the house in a good mood, leaving his twin with a piece of bread in his mouth, looking after him curiously.

“Who is it that can make that Payu smile like that?”

But whoever it was, he couldn't help but feel sorry for them, because there were probably few people who got to see this kind of smile from Nai Payu.

A wicked smile, that is.

“You Rain, what the hell are you? Acting like you're fleeing from a creditor.”

“No way!”

After receiving the call from the unexpected person, Rain couldn't help but be wary. He wasn't so stupid as to forget that Phîi Payu had graduated from here. If that guy suddenly showed up, it wouldn't be strange. So, better safe than sorry. To walk past every corner, he had to poke his head out to scout the route!

Thus, a bizarre scene unfolded of the first-year youth poking his head out from a pillar, then shuffling to another pillar, poking his head out to look again, then moving to another, until Sky, who was walking from another direction, frowned intently.

What crazy thing is he up to now?

When Sky came over to greet him, the person imitating a spy jumped in fright, turning around sharply and shaking his head repeatedly, but no matter how you looked at it, it was suspicious.

“Your voice is high.”

“My voice is always high, whatever.”

“Yeah, yeah. Stop being an idiot. Let's go to the classroom. You'll be late.” The listener didn't play along, managing to drag his close friend towards the lecture hall while Rain himself clung to his back as if using him as a shield.

Once they finally got into the classroom, Nai VaRain let out a huge sigh.

“I knew it! He wouldn't dare show up. All talk and threats. Oh, poor thing.” Once inside the classroom, he became bold, crossing his arms and speaking with satisfaction. But as soon as he turned around...

“Hey! You Sky, wait for me!”

His close friend had walked ahead far away, not thinking to wait for the speaker, until he had to quickly run after him.

“Sky! Sky! Sky!” Once seated properly, and seeing that the professor hadn't arrived yet, Rain turned to the person next to him, tugging hard on his sleeve.

“What is it with you?”

“Did you know that Phîi Payu is also a mechanic?”

This time, Sky put down his mobile phone, turned to look him in the eye, and asked one sentence in return.

“Do you think I'm Phîi Payu's stomach? That I know what he does all the time?”

“Sky!”

“Don't 'Sky' me. I don't know!” Sky said, feeling annoyed, but Rain kept tugging on his sleeve, leaning in close without any consideration.

“Then go ask the Phîi's in the club for me, will you? Here... the other day when I went to get my car, I heard at the garage that Phîi Payu checks race car engines. Like those super cool big bikes. I heard there's some race this Friday. Do you know which track? Maybe I can get some more information.” Rain said in a set, while the listener retorted.

“And why do you want to know?”

“Oh! As the ancients said, know your enemy and know yourself, and in a hundred battles you will never be in peril!”

“Even if you know your enemy, I don't think you'll win.” Rain pouted, displeased that his friend wasn't on his side, but he didn't give up. He shook the table, he shook his arm. When his friend turned his face away, he moved to sit on the chair on the other side. It was like, if you don't help, I'll just keep bothering you like this.

“Sky, I know that if you decide to find information, you can definitely get it. Help me out. I'm being bullied by that damned shit-lizard. Come on, come on, come on.”

“Rain!”

“What, are you going to help me?” the little one asked excitedly.

“No. I just want to ask if you realize that these days you only talk about Phîi Payu.”

“Hey! I do not!” Rain exclaimed loudly, making a move to complain, but was stopped when Sky raised his hand in a 'stop' gesture.

“If you say so, you don't. You don't need to explain. I'm too lazy to listen. And I'm not helping you either. I don't want any trouble.” Having said that, Sky turned his attention back to his mobile phone, ignoring the friend next to him who was shaking his arm until his head wobbled. He affirmed again that he wouldn't help, didn't want to look for lice to put on his own head!

Of course, someone of Nai VaRain's level would not give up. Even though the professor had entered, he still passed a note to his friend's desk, with the message... If you don't help, I'll really pout.

The little one himself didn't understand why he wanted to know this much either. Maybe because a premonition was warning him that if he didn't hurry to find a way to secure victory, disaster would surely befall him sooner or later. Moreover, that sentence "never lets anyone escape a debt" was still haunting his head!

He might pop up anytime!

“Damn, then what!”

They say karma is swift, but Nai VaRain was confident he hadn't committed any sins anywhere. So how could his nemesis come and sit handsomely in front of the lecture hall?!

At first, he was surprised why the professor had dismissed the class but his friends were still standing around in front of the classroom. But out of curiosity, he squeezed through and stood on tiptoe to see why the traffic was jammed. And it was clear! Just standing on the very tips of his toes, just as his eyes peeked over the back of a female friend's head, he met piercingly sharp eyes, until he quickly pulled his head back, no different from a turtle retracting into its shell!

How could that Phîi Payu be here?!

No, wait, he's an alumnus. It wouldn't be strange for him to show up. But why did he choose to show up in front of the classroom instead of the club room or the professor's lounge?

He didn't know why he was hiding, he only knew to retreat first and talk later.

Wham!

“Caught you.”

He didn't want to say it, but he had goosebumps all the way to his butt!

The little one jumped in fright the moment a large hand landed on his shoulder, followed by a deep voice sounding above his head, until he could only glance up and meet that smile which seemed to say... Got you now!

“This Nông here, Professor, is the one I have business with.” Rain almost squirmed and thrashed like a worm scalded by hot water, if not for Payu turning to talk to the course professor, making him realize it wasn't just the professor's eyes on him, but also the curious eyes of many classmates.

He wasn't crazy enough to be a clown for the whole faculty to watch.

“Then, when you have free time, don't forget to stop by again.”

“Yes, Professor. Goodbye.”

Rain waited until the professor had walked far away, his two legs preparing to run, but... the large hands clamped onto both his shoulders even more quickly.

“Let go...”

“Hello, Phîi Payu.” Before the little one could complain, his close friend stepped in front, raising his hands in a wai to the senior, calling the sharp eyes to turn and look.

“What's up, Sky? Getting used to the work at the club yet?”

“It's manageable, Phîi. Uh, then...” Sky lowered his gaze to look at the two hands holding Rain's shoulders, and also sent a warning look to his friend that he was helping, but you stay quiet for five minutes first.

“It just so happens I'm out working outside today. Saw that I was in this area, so I stopped by to handle a little business.”

“The business you mentioned involves my friend?”

“Rain is Sky's friend? That's great then. Phîi will borrow your friend for a bit.”

“Hey! I'm not going!” While Payu continued to smile, the person about to be borrowed gasped and exclaimed loudly, trying to reach out and grab Sky's arm to save himself, but the large person behind him wasn't willing to let go either. Moreover, he bent down to talk to him with a rather pleasing smile.

“But Phîi called and told Rain that Phîi would come.”

“I di...”

Don't tell me it was this morning!

Rain's mouth hung open. He hadn't thought that was a call to inform him at all. And he was even more stunned.

“Phîi came to collect the repair cost.”

“What repair cost?” VaRain didn't notice at all that Peal was standing behind Sky again. He only realized when the girl asked curiously, looking up at him and Phîi Payu alternately, her eyes asking, "Didn't you say you didn't like Phîi Payu?" Why do you look so close? Until he wanted to shout out loud that they weren't close, not even a little bit!

“The cost for car repairs. Rain took his car to be repaired at my family's place. So today I stopped by to collect the cost we agreed upon.”

“I never agreed...”

“But actually, Rain has already paid some of it. Because Rain let Phîi grab...”

Wham!

That moment was the moment Rain could say his brain worked the fastest, because it commanded him to clamp his hand tightly over the large senior's mouth. He turned to look at his close friend and the girl he liked with terror, unsure if they had heard the next words from that Phîi Payu.

What did that guy grab? Why, little Rain, of course. A handful, too.

He couldn't let those foul words be spat out.

“Phîi, come here! Come on!”

Once he had summed things up for himself, Rain didn't think to wait for Sky's help anymore. If he stood and waited, it would definitely blow up in his face with Peal. Therefore, the little one used all his strength, both pulling, yanking, and dragging the person he hated the sight of as far away from here as possible. The farther to the ends of the earth, the better!

Meanwhile, Sky and Pear could only turn to look at each other.

“Rain is quite close with Phîi Payu, isn't he, Sky?”

“I'm not sure either.”

Sky couldn't defend his friend either, because he saw with his own two eyes that Rain was the one dragging Phîi Payu away. So, if anything happened, he'd have to consider that he brought it upon himself.

“What were you going to say just now?!”

At this moment, Rain thought only of finding the most private place, and the only place he could think of was the bathroom behind the building. So, once they were alone, the little one spun around to glare at him seriously, his voice coming through gritted teeth like a puppy learning to snarl. He only knew he was extremely angry.

“Telling the truth.”

“What truth? There is no truth at all!”

Whoosh!

Gasp!

He should be the one who's angry. Why was he in this position?

Rain wanted to retort sharply, but as soon as the other slammed his palm against the wall behind him and leaned in close, the youth was utterly startled. He looked up at the intensely sharp eyes that now showed displeasure.

“Do you know what Phîi hates the most?” The sharp eyes threatened. “I... I don't know. Why should I know?” The smaller one tried to act tough, even though he was trembling almost to death. Payu continued. “People who don't keep their word.”

“I never break my word!!”

Wham!

The tall figure reached out to grab his chin and held it tightly, looking at him with blazing eyes, asking with a sentence that made the person in his embrace freeze in stunned silence.

“Then you've forgotten, have you, that Phîi told you from the beginning that the cost this time is expensive, and some little shepherd boy already said he could afford it.” The image of the day Rain nodded, confirming he was ready to pay the cost for the tow truck and repairs, flashed into his head, until he himself trembled secretly.

Yes, he had promised. But he didn't know he had to pay with what.

“I'm not a shepherd boy!” He tried to argue.

“Then pay up,” Payu retorted coldly.

“I won't pay!”

“Hee! Shepherd boy.”

Damn! You psycho!!!

The so-called shepherd boy shouted loudly in his heart, staring fixedly into the other's eyes, even as his large, round eyes began to glisten with clear droplets, born from the resentment of being unable to win the argument. His two hands clenched into tight fists, wanting to swing them into the face of that crazy senior whom everyone said was so good. If only they met him like this, they'd see how vicious he was!

“How far along is your work?”

“Still stuck on the building structure.”

Suddenly, the sound of conversation came from outside the bathroom, making Rain's eyes pop wide open. He turned his head sharply to look and found the sound was getting closer and closer in this direction. If anyone saw him and the other in this condition... screwed!

“Get in, get in, get in!”

Slam!

Before he could think it through carefully, VaRain pushed the large man's chest, making him retreat into the toilet stall, followed him in, and slammed the door shut, just narrowly before a large group of men came in to do their business, until he could only sigh in relief.

However...

Wham!

“Let go!”

“Ahhh!” Rain tried to struggle when a strong arm wrapped around his back, but upon hearing the warning, his body stiffened. His two hands pressed against the bathroom door in extreme tension, because if he made noise, the people outside would hear. But if he moved, he would rub against the person behind him.

This was clearly shutting the door to trap himself!

The little one could only grab the large hand that was fiddling near the buttons of his student uniform shirt in shock. He didn't dare turn around because the warm breath was already hitting the back of his neck.

“Let me go, damn it!”

“Speak nicely.”

“No.” Rain replied in a whisper, but that was probably the wrong answer, because the hand resting on his stomach moved up to his chest.

“Ah!”

The small person's eyes widened, trying to grab the large hand that brushed past the peak of his chest through his student uniform shirt!

“Struggle. The people outside will probably want to know what we're doing.”

Thud!

Rain's body stiffened again, while the large hand was kneading his chest until he felt all fluttery. Sweat dripped, soaking his entire back with fear. His ears heard the deep voice whispering an order.

“Go on, try asking nicely.”

“No!”

Whoosh!

“Mmm.” Fingertips brushed past the peak of his chest again, until Rain pressed his lips together tightly, containing the moan to only his throat. But then he had to jump in fright when the person behind him lifted his knee and inserted it between his thighs, rubbing gently against his soft buttocks until his whole body shuddered.

Right now, the air in the small bathroom where two men were crammed together was frighteningly hot. So hot that Rain's face flushed crimson, his student uniform shirt soaked with sweat. But he truly didn't know whether this shuddering sensation, along with his rapidly beating heart, was due to the heat of the air or the body temperature of the person pressed so closely against him.

He was a man. When teased like this, he couldn't help but feel fluttery.

“Call me Phîi Payu.”

“No...”

Smooch!

“Ph... Phîi Payu.” A warm mouth pressed firmly against his neck; he could feel the suction on his skin, until Rain quickly called the other in defeat. His body, which had been resisting at first, was trembling slightly. He didn't dare either to struggle free or to shout for help.

“Phîi Payu, let Rain go, please... I'm talking.”

“I don't want to.” The last shreds of dignity prompted him to refuse. “Then it's fine.” He almost smiled, if not for the same hand switching to undoing the buttons of his student uniform shirt one by one, until he could only squirm restlessly. And damn it! When he squirmed, his round buttocks rubbed against something that was sleeping down there. His body stiffened into stone once more.

Payu pushed his knee up a bit higher, rubbing gently, while the second button was undone, and the fingertips moved to the third...

“Ph... Phîi Payu... let Rain go, please... Hic!”

All action stopped when the crimson face, glistening with tears, turned to speak in utter desperation. His lips trembled so pitifully, shedding tears like a defeated, boastful child. But the devilish adult wasn't satisfied with just that, because the sharp face leaned close to his smooth cheek and gave the next order.

“Rain promises not to speak rudely to Phîi Payu again... Say it.”

“Ra... Rain promises... not to speak rudely... to Phîi Payu... again.” The little one repeated through tears, while the listener smiled contentedly, moved his hand to the lock, and then...

Click!

The young man opened the bathroom door, making Rain gasp, trying to squeeze back in so people outside wouldn't see his face, but found only... an empty bathroom!

“They've all left.”

Whoosh!

The terrified person, almost dead, collapsed to sit on the floor, completely drained of strength. Payu moved to kneel and button up the crying child whose snot was running.

“Phîi told you I would come to collect the debt. And Phîi also told you that Rain must speak nicely to Phîi. Since you didn't listen to a good warning, I had to come in person.” The listener didn't know whether to feel relieved or confused, so he could only ask in bewilderment.

“Hic.... Weren't you going to... assault me?”

This question made Payu smile, then place a hand on his head to tousle his hair.

The action, so gentle, contrasted with the words... that deserved a slap.

“Even seeing this, Phîi is choosy, you know.”

Pfft.

Having said that, Payu stood up to his full height, looking down at his watch.

“Phîi is leaving. And if next time we meet, you still don't speak properly, don't say Phîi didn't warn you.”

Rain could only watch the other walk away as if nothing had happened, even though his own legs still had no strength. But coming outside and encountering the more circulated air made his brain start working again. And what it was processing was the second-to-last sentence Payu had left him with.

“Even seeing this, Phîi is choosy, you know.”

Is Phîi Payu saying that he's not among the options...?

“Aaaaaaaah!” Once the processing was complete, Rain let out a cry of extreme anguish, raising both hands to cover his own chest. Tears welled up even more in the corners of his eyes, because they were a mixture of fear and hurt, with the latter seeming to be greater.

If you don't choose me, why did you play with my breasts?!

This thought made Rain bite his lip and sob, while glancing downward, and found that... little Rain was twitching.

“Psycho! Psycho! Psycho!!! Remember this, you psycho!!!”

Remember that you made him experience such humiliation!

Rain entrusted his resentment to the wind, but the one who was most resentful was himself... himself, who had to take care of something because of the previous touch from the person he hated most.

He should be happy, right, that the other didn't choose him? But in reality, Rain wanted to make the other take back his words!

I'll make you choose me for sure. Just wait, you crazy Phîi Payu!
