In a luxury condominium in the heart of the city, loud, heavy-beat music filled the entire room. Fun-loving young men and women moved their bodies to the rhythm enjoyably. Each held a strong alcoholic drink in their hand, and the later it got, the more heated the atmosphere became. In the corners of the room, some couples were exchanging intimate touches, their hands wandering suggestively, kissing without a care for anyone else.

A fun party that fun-loving people wouldn't want to miss.

Meanwhile, in the host's large bedroom, a young man was burying his face in a full bosom. His two hands were kneading with considerable force, until the young woman moaned sweetly. She wrapped her arms around his neck, calling out, begging for the pleasure the other would give her.

"Ah, ah.... Phîi Top, faster."

"Why are you moaning so much? It's annoying!" But the young man lifted his head with an irritated expression, annoyed by the incessant moaning in his ear, which made the young woman startle slightly. But she quickly moved to press her soft bosom against him, trying to please him.

"Is something wrong, Phîi Top? Are you in a bad mood?"

"Yeah!"

The speaker's voice was sharp as he got up to grab a cigarette and light it. The small, unclothed figure quickly followed to hug him from behind.

"What happened? You can tell me."

"Will telling you help me in any way? Just be quiet and shut up!" The listener secretly made a face, but her hands reached out to stroke his chest, hoping the irritated person would resume their activities.

"Âi'Top"

"Eek!"

But before she could make the room's owner turn to look at her, the bedroom door swung wide open. The young woman hurriedly grabbed a blanket to cover her body, crying out in surprise. The intruder paid no attention, taking long strides inside and stopping.

"Did you know you got played?"

His friend's face.

"Played how?" Top turned to look irritably. His friend glanced at the young woman who also refused to leave.

"You, get out for now."

"But..."

"Get out! Are you deaf?!"

When the room's owner yelled, the slender figure bit her lip in frustration, grabbed her clothes, clutched the blanket tightly, and stomped out to show her extreme anger. But Top didn't care. He could find a woman like this anytime. His friend's anxious expression seemed more important.

After losing to Oat at the race event he had tried so hard to get into, the arrogant youth was so furious that he couldn't stand anyone being near him. That made his friends nervous, and they hurried to find information for him, before being cut off as friends because that day they had hoped to escape and save themselves.

"Just say what you have to say," Top took a deep drag of smoke into his lungs.

"It's about you losing the race."

"You damned shit-lizard! I didn't lose! They cheated me!" the young man yelled loudly. His friend quickly raised his hands, urging him to calm down.

"Yeah, I know. That's why I'm telling you this. Do you remember Âi'Sai-fah, the one who had you race his friend? I did some digging and found a race car garage that people in the car scene know well. The guys running it now are named Sai-fah and Payu. They're brothers. Starting to sound familiar?"

"So what?" Top said irritably. Even though he wanted to settle the score completely, he had accepted the challenge himself. Everyone saw it that day.

"Well, the mechanic who said you sucked is that Âi'Payu, the twin brother!"

"What did you say?!" That was it. The listener jumped up to his full height, looking at his friend with blazing eyes as if he were that damned mechanic.

"Yeah, you heard right. I went to sneak a look at his face. Âi'Payu is the mechanic who insulted you. Don't you think it's strange? Âi'Sai-fah challenged you to race, and the mechanic taking care of the cars was Âi'Payu. I think you were right. Those two brothers teamed up to make you lose face." Top threw the ashtray against the wall in a rage, thinking of that mechanic's face and wanting to stomp him to a pulp.

"They deliberately made me lose!" The young man remembered the day Payu recommended which car he should use. When he asked which one had the most powerful engine, he had chosen for him. He must have chosen the worst one so his friend could win.

The more the hot-headed person thought about it, the angrier he became, almost to the point of madness. Meanwhile, his friend felt relieved, thinking he had helped restore his honor, so Top would stop overthinking and taking it out on his other friends. But...

"What's the name of their garage? Get it for me."

"Uh, what are you going to do with it?" The one who dug up the news thought things would end with Âi'Top venting his anger a bit, then he'd calm down and could explain that he didn't lose because he sucked, but because he was cheated. Instead, he was looking at him with burning eyes, asking in such a strong voice that he started to have a bad feeling.

"You think I'll let this end here? I lost face at the race event I tried so hard to get into! And that servant Chai probably reported it to Khun Pakin. What do you think my image in his eyes is now? Damn it! I have to get my face back!" the hot-headed person declared loudly. Once he had all the information, Top rushed out of the room without waiting to hear anyone's objections.

I'll make you as ashamed as I was!

"So, he called to challenge you to a race?"

"Yeah. A sore loser looking for a beating."

In the glass-walled office of the car garage, Payu was sitting, looking at his twin brother's face as he nodded with an irritated expression. Because Sai-fah was the one who took the call, he had to deal with the youth who seemed to have been spoiled rotten by his parents.

Actually, they encountered people like this often. Especially the show-offs who acted like they knew everything—they met them every day. They'd argue with the mechanics, faces dark red, insisting this was good, that was right, without even considering what suited their own car. But once in a while, there would be someone who could make a usually good-natured person like Sai-fah speak about them with such a scornful tone.

There were too many sore losers from losing to Âi'Oat to count on two hands. But it usually ended on the track, because no one dared to have problems with the event host. But this time, he wasn't taking it out on the winner, but was instead taking it out on the mechanic, accusing him of cheating to make him lose. That was what made Sai-fah so angry he slammed the phone receiver down.

"He blames you for not choosing a good car for him, which is why he lost to Âi'Oat. I'm so irritated. He boasted so much about being close with Khun Pakin, but the bloody fucker doesn't even know that Âi'Oat is Khun Pakin's favorite. Everyone who races him loses. And then when I challenged him, 'Then come race me,' he said he definitely would, but only after he's finished playing around first." The younger twin rolled his eyes, not thinking his playful fun would escalate to cause trouble for his sibling.

"If you don't want to race, you don't have to. Let him bark. He's just a sore loser."

Rain swallowed hard. He had never seen Sai-fah this irritated before. He turned to look at the person beside him.

Phîi Payu looked much calmer than when he first heard the news, which made him nervous because he truly couldn't read this kind of expression.

This wasn't the kind Phîi Payu who went to declare himself as his partner at the university. This wasn't the wicked, teasing person who liked to make his eyes well up with tears. This wasn't the sweet guy who made him shyly curl up. This was the serious guy that Rain swore he would absolutely never cross.

If Phîi Payu had looked at him like this from their first or second meeting, he wouldn't have dared to challenge him. He realized now that Phîi Payu hadn't been serious with him at all back then.

"Did he state the rules?"

"He did. He said he'd race at Khun Pakin's main track. The rules are like a real competition, but just one lap decides the outcome. Oh! He said for you to bring the car you think is best. This time he'll bring his own car, so we can't cheat him like last time." Sai-fah answered the question with extreme irritation, then continued.

"Hah! He says 'according to real rules,' but does he even know that real rules forbid using Super Charge or Turbo? Believe me, the car he brings will probably be rigged in every way. Don't accept. It's a obvious loss."

Rain began to feel anxious because Phîi Payu was smiling. Then he turned to look outside.

"Then I'll make it so even his dog can't win." The speaker stood up, which made the younger twin exclaim loudly.

"You're going to accept?!"

"Yeah. And I'll use that one to race." Payu pointed to the beautiful big bike that had just been painted a few days ago... the same one that a certain dog had used and lost with.

"Phîi Payu!" Rain understood the feeling Phîi Máa had about not wanting Bpǎa to ride the big bike, especially this time. He quickly grabbed his partner's hand, looking up at him with concern. He didn't mind riding on regular roads, because Phîi Payu didn't use excessive speed and it was cool, suiting the other guy. But imagining racing on a large track, taking curves with knees nearly scraping the road edge, made him uneasy.

The worried look in his eyes made Payu place a hand on his head and shake it gently.

"Didn't Phîi tell Rain that he's enviable?"

"Don't joke, Phîi Payu." The little one scowled because at a time like this, he was still teasing him. The big guy shook his head.

"Phîi isn't joking. But Phîi will show Rain..." The speaker leaned down until their eyes were level, then said in a serious tone,

"...just how enviable Rain is to have a partner like Phîi. Just wait and see."

With that, Payu walked out of the room, heading straight to Phîi On, who was looking at that very bike, leaving Rain to turn and look at the other twin's face. Honestly, right now he didn't feel annoyed by the other's narcissistic words, or embarrassed and blushing that others were listening. Instead, he was staring at Sai-fah, hoping for a better explanation.

"Phîi Sai-fah, I'm asking seriously. Does Phîi Payu have a chance of winning?"

Throughout the time he had known him, he knew Phîi Payu as a car enthusiast whose hobby was being a big bike mechanic. But as a racer, he had no information in his head. Sai-fah's face was tense.

"If you're asking me, I think..."

The answer Rain got left him sitting there stunned.

Today, the comprehensive race track that had hosted countless major competitions was granted special permission by the venue owner to be used as the arena to decide the outcome between Payu and Top. The mechanic's partner, who had temporarily become a racer for a day, was looking at the large track with awe.

They're going this big?

The track was impressive. Now Rain felt his heart pounding nervously. When it was the inner-city race track, it was scary enough, but that was a straight line, not a very long distance. This place looked much grander, making his hands clasp tightly together as he looked on.

"Don't worry about Âi'Payu. More importantly, why did you come?" Sai-fah glanced at the person who had tagged along.

"Huh! I wanted to see how the skilled mechanic would be on the track," Phra Phai said jokingly, though he regretted not being there the day the incident happened. Otherwise, he might have seen something fun. But on second thought, maybe it was better he wasn't there, because from what he heard, the challenger was just a show-off. If he had seen him and Oat race for real, he'd probably have shrunk his head back into his shell.

He probably knew he was taking it out on Âi'Payu instead of Oat himself; otherwise, no matter how many times he raced, he wouldn't be able to redeem his name.

"So, what do you think?" Sai-fah wanted to know his opinion.

"Honestly, I don't know, that's why I came to see for myself. But from knowing you guys for almost two years, I know one thing..." Phra Phai looked at his friend's face, then over to the clearly worried little one. He really wanted to ask about this kid's friend, but knew it wasn't the time. Then he said in a firm voice,

"Âi'Payu wouldn't do something he thinks he can't do."

A calm person like that only accepts the challenge if he thinks he can win.

"Is that what you think, Phîi Phai?" Rain asked worriedly. He had gotten to know him when Sai-fah introduced them earlier.

"Phîi should ask Rain instead. Does Rain think Âi'Payu will win or lose?"

Strangely, that single question made Rain smile, because he was confident of one thing.

"Phîi Payu has never lost to anyone."

Even he had been defeated by this man.

The two adults laughed at the answer, then pointed towards the person being discussed, who was walking in wearing a full racing suit, holding his trusted helmet. Rain hurriedly ran over to him.

"But I've seen him lose before," Sai-fah remarked.

"Yeah, me too," Phra Phai supported, because they had seen it with their own eyes, right now.

The skilled mechanic had a stern, serious expression, but when he saw the cute child running towards him, the corner of his mouth twitched upward, his gaze softening. He raised a hand to hug his shoulder. It was obvious he was defeated by this child.

"That suit is so damn cool, Phîi Payu."

"Cool just the suit?"

"Mm-hmm! Cool just the suit." Rain didn't want the other to see that he was worried. The racer was probably stressed enough as it was. So he smiled widely, speaking loudly, which made the other guy grin sharply and pull his head down to rest on his shoulder.

"Ouch! Phîi Payu, stop teasing! The suit is really cool!"

"Then later, I'll wait for Rain to be the one to tear this racing suit off me himself." The listener's eyes widened, looking at his face, thinking the other was joking. But there wasn't a hint of playfulness in his gaze. He really wanted to retort, Why would I want to tear the racing suit off you?

Cool guys and cool suits should stay just like this. It's perfect.

"Don't believe me? Just wait and see." Payu whispered, which made Rain want to argue, but he turned and saw the opponent entering with a large car that had to be admitted as extremely cool.

But looking at the face of the person who would ride it... no matter how cool the car was, he couldn't bring himself to praise it.

Top himself walked over and stopped in front of Payu, then looked down at Rain who was in the young mechanic's embrace. He gave a contemptuous, twitching smile. It was clear he despised the relationship that looked like more than just brothers. Then he opened his mouth with a provocation that made Rain want to grab his lower jaw and smash it.

"Good thing you didn't run off with your tail between your legs to hide under a car's skirt."

"You damned..." The hot-tempered kid flared up, but was stopped as Payu tugged his arm.

"You know why you lost to my friend last time?" Payu asked in an even tone, his sharp eyes showing no compromise, and then... he smirked.

"Because all you're good at is barking."

"You!"

"Âi'Top, calm down! If there's trouble, we can't race!" Friends from the other side held Top back. This made the listener calm down, because he had spent a fortune on this race car, its caliber not inferior to those used in real competitions. He was confident that there was no way he would lose to a car modified from Payu's garage.

"You'll find out soon enough who the real dog is!"

The troublemaker pointed a finger, then turned and strode away. Rain raised a fist after him, wanting to punch him just once.

"Damned shit-lizard! Just breathing the same air as him makes me itch all over." Rain said irritably, then turned to look at the person beside him, his eyes pleading.

"But since you can definitely beat him, make him walk in like a man and crawl back on all fours!

The expression of anger on his behalf made Payu calm down. It wasn't that he wasn't irritated by those words, but some things were proven on the track. However, seeing Rain flailing like he hadn't in a while, he couldn't help but smile, finding it endearing how the junior was swinging his fists wildly in the air.

"You want me to win? Then give me some encouragement." Payu looked at him smiling.

"Phîi, we're in the middle of the track." Rain warned, pointing behind him to indicate it wasn't just his twin brother and his friend; there were track officials, and also that damned shit-lizard's side. But the big guy just raised an eyebrow as if to say 'so what?' Moreover...

"If I don't get encouragement and I lose, it'll be because of you, you know."

Honestly, he was really annoyed!

Mwah! Mwahhhh!

"Satisfied?" But the annoyed person grabbed the handsome guy's cheeks and pressed his nose against both cheeks with loud mwah sounds, asking bluntly.

Smack!

Payu gathered the little one into a tight hug and was the one to bury his face in the crook of his neck, taking a deep breath of the faint fragrance. Rain squirmed, still conscious of the many people, until Payu was satisfied and released the small figure, pulling back to make eye contact.

"If I win, I want a bigger reward than this."

With that, the speaker let Rain go, turned, and walked back to the track, leaving the listener looking after him with concern.

If you win, Phîi Payu, I'd even be willing in the changing room! But better not say it out loud. If he takes it seriously, it'll be trouble.

Even though the spectators numbered only a few of them, Rain could feel the heat in the air, the thirst for victory, and the sound of the engines stirring excitement until he was trembling. His eyes were fixed only on the pair about to start. The sound of the engines roared thunderously.

He remembered Sai-fah's words from a few days ago.

"When we two were old enough to ride, we learned together. Before Âi'Payu got interested in engines, he used to race with me. But when he started modifying engines himself, he found he liked it, he enjoyed it, so he turned to focus on this. But he didn't want to give up his dream of being an architect, so he chose both. So if you ask me... I can tell you that I still see the desire to win in his eyes. The blood of a racer doesn't fade away easily."

Even looking at that broad, distant back from here, Rain could perceive it... Phîi Payu had no intention of losing.

Rain didn't care at all about the opponent's car, whether it was as loud as Sai-fah had cursed, saying it violated real competition rules, or had a bigger engine than allowed. Because he was only watching the black and red bike of Phîi Payu shooting forward. He felt nervous during the sharp turns, his heart pounding wildly, not even knowing if the opponent was ahead or behind.

His eyes were only on Phîi Payu.

The image of that rainy day, when an extremely cool big bike pulled up alongside his car, flashed into his mind. That day, he thought Phîi Payu was so cool he could talk about it for days, several times a day, until his friends got annoyed. But Phîi Payu at this moment made the lump in his chest pound even more violently. His two hands clenched together in extreme anticipation. He wanted to shout out, to unrestrainedly vent the feelings he had for this person.

This is him. My Phîi Payu.

"That's the way, my brother!"

"Bloody fucking hell! Next time I'll challenge him to a race!"

Rain didn't even realize that Phîi Payu's bike had already crossed the finish line, to the extent that the two men beside him cheered loudly in triumph, because he was just watching, seeing the person slow down, stop, get off the bike. By the time he became aware again, his legs were carrying him towards the winner with a gaze that didn't try to hide his feelings in the slightest.

Beyond admiration, happiness, and relief, it was filled with intense emotion.

Whoosh!

Payu was pulling the helmet off his head with a simple motion, letting his shoulder-length hair, damp with sweat, frame his sharp face, revealing the eyes of a winner that made Rain quicken his pace towards him before breaking into a run and jumping into the arms of the person who opened them to receive him without a thought for the loser.

Rain could definitely say it... he couldn't take it anymore.

How many times was this man going to steal his heart before he was satisfied?!

Smack!

Once his two arms were wrapped around the tall figure, Rain didn't hesitate to press his lips firmly against the other's mouth, exchanging the taste of victory with each other while their bodies burned hot, not knowing if it was from the racer's temperature or because his feelings were overflowing.

"I really like this reward."

Once satisfied, Rain pulled back to listen to the deep, husky voice close to his lips. But he didn't want just that.

Eyes met, hands gripped the suit, and Rain whispered in a trembling voice,

"Phîi Payu... I've been dying to take this crazy suit off you!"

He wanted more than this.

Meanwhile, Payu couldn't hide the raw intensity in his eyes at all.

They weren't thinking differently in the slightest.

"Don't you dare ignore me, you damned shit-lizard!" The loser rushed over, but neither Payu nor Rain paid any attention, letting Sai-fah and Phra Phai block the way, allowing them to go celebrate the victory that could only be done by the two of them. Phîi Payu might be cool in this suit, but Rain was sure it would be much better without anything covering that skin he wanted right now!

Yes, Warain was sure. He was the most enviable person for having a partner named Payu.
