“Okay, Khun can take over from here.”

“Thank you Khrap, Professor.”

Sky accepted his professor’s words with a pleased smile, as his final project design passed smoothly. In truth, he had to admit it passed from the first time he presented the idea and had been progressing without a hitch, to the extent that many of his friends were jealous. He himself was surprised that everything was going so well lately.

It had been almost two weeks since he moved into Phîi Phai’s house. Sky was also approaching the end of his first semester, but the massive amount of work could not hurt him like it did at the start of the term. Perhaps it was because recently his mind was clear and his body was even more determined to fight. Just seeing the face of a certain someone who visited after work made him happy.

He used to think he could live alone, but now he found himself attached to Phîi Phai.

Maybe this project was going so smoothly because he worked on it while thinking of Phîi Phai.

Sky knew very well how ridiculous that was.

Buzz! Buzz!

Sky secretly picked up his phone to look under the desk, then grinned widely.

....I have a race tonight. I will visit you late. Do you want anything to eat....

He typed a reply swiftly.

....I will buy it myself later. Do not worry about me. I hope you win....

Phîi Phai replied even faster.

...If I win, will there be a reward for me?...

The person on this end hesitated for a moment, then decided to type a reply.

....If you have the energy, I can handle it...

This time, Phîi Phai was silent for a long moment.

Phîi Phai?...

When no reply came, Sky almost put his phone back in his bag, but it vibrated again before he could, forcing him to look down. He then laughed out loud, causing other friends to turn and look.

“I am sorry,” the youth quickly said, while stifling his laughter until his shoulders shook. Afraid his friends would misunderstand that he was laughing at their work, he pressed his head against the desk, suppressing a terrifyingly wide grin, until Warain spoke up.

“What is wrong with you, Âi Sky?"

“Nothing, it is nothing.”

Well, Phîi Phai had just replied saying....

....I took a screenshot and printed it out as evidence. Sky will not pass out tonight. Do not call me Phra Phai!...

What kind of Psycho screenshots a Line conversation and prints it out!

An answer popped into his head....A Psycho like his romantic partner, that is who.

***

“Did you know there is a car race tonight?”

After class ended and they left the room, his close friend turned to talk to him, and it was about the same thing he had just discussed with the big, dark giant.

“Phîi Phai just told me.”

“I want to go. I am just too busy and have no time to sleep. When will semester break ever come?”

“In a few weeks. Does your phone not have a calendar?” Sky asked with a smile, looking at his close friend who pouted. Then his friend started complaining.

“You have only been to that event once, and you did not even go inside. You have no idea how many young women and young men are there, and they are all dressed up. I have been many times and seen people staring at Phîi Payu with longing eyes. I know Phîi Payu does not care, but I cannot help feeling possessive. He is my romantic partner.” At the end of the sentence, Âi Rain said in a whiny voice, then he asked further, “What about you? Are you not possessive of Phîi Phai? I heard that the winner there gets to take someone from the other side with them.”

Sky almost stopped smiling, but he just acted indifferent.

“If Phîi Phai wants to take someone, what could I possibly do about it?”

“That is good. I wish I could be as calm as you.”

That was not it. He was just “acting calm.” In truth, he was much more afraid than Âi Rain. Even if Phra Phai praised him for being cute like that, good like this, he was the type to accept reality. Âi Rain here was cuter than him by who knows how much, and Âi Rain still felt anxious, but Âi Sky here was downright scared.

“Hey, and have you ever seen Phîi Phai when he races? He is incredibly cool. He seems like an annoying fucker normally, but when he gets on that big bike, it is like he is a different person.”

The listener shook his head.

“Do you want to go together during the break? Come with me. During the race, Phîi Payu is busy with the car. Whenever I go, I just stay with Phîi Sai-fah.” Âi Rain said eagerly, looking at him with hopeful eyes, until Sky pushed his friend’s head lightly, throwing the truth in his face.

“Before you jump ahead to the break, how about you focus on surviving the end of the semester first?”

That made his friend shut his mouth, making a pitiful face, glancing over at the never-ending homework, so he did not notice the person on this end suddenly looked stressed.

Who said Sky had never been inside that racing event? He had been inside, which was how he met Phra Phai.

Back when Âi Rain had just gotten to know Phîi Payu, his friend was desperate to find a way to that side, to the extent of sneaking into the racing event to find their weak points. He was so hot-headed that he went around asking everyone who knew Phîi Payu. Sky was worried there would be trouble, so he promised to find out where that racing venue was. In the end, he both found it for him and went with him. When Âi Rain was carried off by Phîi Payu and put in a car, was it not Sky who ran after them out of concern? It was him who picked up the car keys his friend dropped and returned them, leading to meeting Phra Phai.

The man who said that if he wanted to be taken out of the event safely, there had to be an exchange.

At that time, Sky thought it was absolutely damned, but now he thought it was the best luck ever.

If he had not gone into that event, he would never have met him.

But amidst the good fortune, there was one thing he had not told his friend in detail...how he found the racing location.

It was his former romantic partner.

His shit-lizard ex whom he thought he would never want to see again in this life, but he remembered that shit-lizard had once talked about a downtown racing track before, so he decided to contact him. Sky was terrified, but because he was more worried about his friend who might do something crazy, he controlled his composure, negotiated for a while, and then got the address.

“Should we meet up?

Why would he go meet him? Because after getting the location, Sky hung up and quickly deleted the number he had called. So it was not that he did not want to go into that racing event, but that he was afraid to.

There was no guarantee they would not meet.

“Are you okay? You look pale.” He must have shown too much on his face, as his complaining friend spoke up, making him quickly compose himself and shake his head.

“No, it is nothing. We can talk about that matter after the break.”

“You promised, right?”

“Yeah, have I ever broken my word?”

That incident was years ago; he should be able to put it behind him by now.

Sky was not sure when he realized he was interested in men. It might have been when his friends started talking about the opposite sex, or when he found himself looking at men's bodies more than women's. But he did not tell anyone; he kept it quiet. Combined with his family's divorce problems, the youth Naphon kept this matter completely secret until he entered high school in Bangkok.

Everything seemed new to him, and the freedom he received made the young man even more reckless.

He got to know a more diverse group of friends and tried things he had never tried while living with his parents. Sky tried smoking and drinking in tenth grade. By eleventh grade, friends invited him to go to entertainment venues. Relying on knowing an older person there, they brought in underage youth, and Sky met....Phîi Gun.

At that time, Sky was no different from a clean, white cloth, fascinated by everything, and he caught the other's eye.

Phîi Gun looked cool, mysterious, and intriguing, making his heart flutter.

The other party could tell how he was looking at him. Not only did Phîi Gun not dislike it, but he also offered experiences Sky had never received before. He slept with Phîi Gun, ignoring friends who said that person had a bad reputation. He was still too trusting, too naive, and thought love was everything.

Sky simply thought that Phîi Gun might not be a good person, but the Phîi Gun who took care of him, paid attention to him more than his own Khun Phô and Khun Mâe, truly loved him.

He was too foolish.

At first, everything was smooth, but then it began to change. Phîi Gun became more violent, no longer satisfied with just ordinary sex, but sought out many things to play with his body. There were toys, blindfolds, and physical harm. But Sky still comforted himself that it was just a sexual preference he could accept, and it began to escalate to body piercings.

He started getting hurt every time they were together. Then the young man who once thought he could endure it began to plead, asking if they could go back to how it was before, hoping that people who loved each other should have some compassion. But this only sparked Phîi Gun's dissatisfaction.

Everything worsened until the homeroom teacher called him in, asking if he had problems with anyone, why he was covered in wounds. He just gave evasive answers, saying he fell down the stairs or had an accident.

Sky was afraid this would reach his Phô's ears, so he begged Phîi Gun nicely. Phîi Gun did get a little better, but it was an improvement that led to even worse events.

The young man did not suspect a thing when he was called to a hotel.

“I have a surprise for Sky.” He was both happy and relieved, thinking Phîi Gun had finally realized he should not treat him like that. But it was not what he thought.

The room did not only contain his romantic partner, but also three of Phîi Gun's friends.

“Why are your friends here too?”

The other party did not answer the question and instead looked at him with cold eyes. Then the worst thing happened.

Sky did not remember everything precisely. He only knew that he tried to escape but was pinned down on the bed by the other friends. He did not know how many punches landed on his stomach to subdue him. Palms slapped his face. His clothes were torn and ripped off his body, amidst his cries, sobs, and pleas to stop.

He begged and pleaded, but those evil-person demons did not stop. And the person who should have stopped them just sat and watched with a blank expression.

“Phîi Gun, help Sky... help Sky, Hic! No, stop, it hurts, Aghhh! It hurts, Phîi Gun, please... Sky, Sky will do anything, Hic! Stop... I am begging you!”

He screamed, begged, and professed his love, looking through a curtain of streaming tears at that man, but the other just sat smoking and watching.

“Phîi Gun, Hic! Please... tell them to stop, I am begging you, it hurts, Hic! Eek! Phîi Gun, you love... you love Sky, right?” Sky did not know why he still hoped, why he thought the other would help him, when it was clear that Phîi Gun was the one who gave him to his friends to violate and break until he was shattered, his heart crushed to pieces, especially when he saw the person who told his friends to gag him.

“I am annoyed.”

“You are a heartless-person damned-animal, Âi Gun. Look, he is flooded with tears. Oh! Is he going to die from heartbreak?” He could only struggle helplessly, crying like a madman, his body smeared with sticky filth and drops of blood. They bit his body, raped him, treated him as just a toy for venting their sexual urges. Then Sky woke from his sweet dream to face the cruel reality, when his romantic partner told his friends in a bored tone.

“I am bored. I give him to you.”

In that second, he lost the strength to struggle. His vision darkened, only tears falling incessantly. Even though he knew that even if he cried himself to death, or actually died, his nightmare would not end. It continued, amidst screams pleading for mercy, but he only heard the voices of demons saying that this Sky was just a broken toy, and even if he broke more, it was no different.

It was not just his body that hurt; his heart hurt even more.

It was a nightmare that haunted him even now.

Amidst the darkness, Naphon jolted awake from his dream, his body drenched in sweat, breathing heavily until his chest heaved, eyes wide open as if he were back in that incident again. It took him several minutes to regain his composure and realize he was not in that hotel room anymore, but in his own dorm room.

“What shit-lizard dream is this again!”

Sky swore, got up to turn on the light, then came back and collapsed onto the bed, exhausted.

Today, after returning to his room, he had lain down to sleep, planning to rest for a few hours before getting up to continue working. But it turned out it was already midnight, and he had dreamed about something he had not dreamed of for months.

“It is definitely because of the conversation with Âi Rain this evening.”

The young man rubbed his face hard to compose himself, to wake up fully, even as his mind wandered back to that time again.

The next morning, Sky woke up alone in the hotel, his body soiled with sticky stains, tears, and blood. But he still dragged his body back to his Aunt's house, cried his eyes out, and locked himself inside for several days, until his Phô came looking for him because he could not be contacted and took him back home, with the young man not uttering a single word about anything.

He spent a long time acting as if nothing had happened, as if that person did not exist in this world, and thought he would never see the other party again. But because of Âi Rain's matter, Sky managed to contact him.

Even though he thought he felt nothing, when he heard that person's voice, he was still afraid.

The passing years did not lessen his fear of Phîi Gun at all, but the passing years built a defense that made him better at pretending nothing was wrong.

“You owe me from last time.”

He had been played with for free by that man's friends.

Phîi Gun looked surprised, probably not thinking he would dare to contact him, but he agreed to tell. However, when asked back...Should we meet up?

What Sky did was hang up and quickly delete the number he had called, as if afraid the person on the other end would travel via the phone signal and appear in front of him again.

“When will I forget this shit-lizard thing!”

The young man swore irritably, but deep down, Sky was afraid.

It was enough to make him look around the empty room, his rather large body trembling, fearing the darkness in the corner of the room might hold a cold gaze and a wide, scornful smile looking at him with pity, until he grabbed his phone to call the person who said he would visit late.

[Do you miss me?]

Strangely, the annoying tone from the other end eased the tightness in his chest, replacing it with comfort.

“What if I said yes?”

[Sky, say that again!!!]

The other end repeated the words in a disbelieving tone, making the listener feel much better, enough to let his inner thoughts slip out easily.

“Phîi Phai, I miss you.”

Right now, he wanted Phîi Phai to hold him tightly and tell him it was okay.

Since when had he started believing this man's words?

The events of the past should have made him wary of love, so why could he not stop this large man who smashed through his fake wall of strength and came in to claim a place in his heart?

It pushed him to speak out.

“Phîi Phai... please hurry and come quickly.”

***

“No one can defeat me today!”

At a time when the sky was pitch black, the lights on the ground below outshone the stars. On a main road that was often congested during the day, it was now replaced by many luxury cars blocking it until the road was empty, making way for high-powered superbikes brought to compete for the title of speed king.

The event was organized by an influential figure who closed down a downtown road, with no police officer daring to interfere. And today, a skilled racer like Phra Phai won beautifully once again.

Even though in this event, one could bet anything, be it money, the person they brought with them, or prestige, Phra Phai raced for one thing only...satisfaction.

A hobby he once loved more than chasing young women, but now something else had taken its place.

“I think I have had enough for today. I am heading back now.”

Phra Phai took off his helmet and told Payu, who was the head mechanic for the event.

“Only half an hour?” Payu looked down at his watch, furrowing his brows in surprise.

“My heart flew off to your university over an hour ago,” the young man said without concealment, his eyes clearly showing happiness, to the point that Payu asked one question.

“When you first said you would chase Sky, I could not believe someone like you would be serious.”

“I am more than serious,” Phra Phai grinned widely, patting his friend's shoulder heavily to reassure him.

“Do not worry. I am not saying this because I care that you are Sky's senior, or that Sky is Rain's close friend, but because I truly love what is mine.” Just thinking about the whiny voice that told him to come quickly was almost too much. If he had not promised someone at the event he would come, he would have raced over as soon as he heard it.

“I think I should go now.”

The more he thought, the more he wanted to see him.

“Phîi Phai, you were amazing again today.”

Sigh! The more I am in a hurry...

Before the young man could leave the event, he was intercepted first.

“I think it was just ordinary,” Phra Phai said cheerfully, looking at Phet and then scanning his surroundings.

“Then today, Gun is not coming?”

“He is not very free, Phîi. But if Phîi wants to see him, next time I will call him for you.” Phra Phai waved his hand to say it was not necessary. He was just making polite conversation, not particularly wanting to see anyone, and was thinking about how to excuse himself from the person who seemed so eager to talk. But...

“Oh Phîi Phai, your romantic partner is quite cute.”

When someone mentioned Sky, Phra Phai stopped in his tracks.

“I saw it on IG,” Phet added a bit more, which made the large man grin widely, his eyes sparkling, thinking of the person who said he missed him.

He might not have gone live, but when it came to showing off his romantic partner, Phra-Phai was second to none.

Afraid that someone might bother his youth, Phra Phai announced his ownership, posted pictures, and tagged Sky. This not only told his friends there that he was the full owner but also told the people around him that this Phra Phai had retired his player card, no need to contact or call, because he was busy raising a youth. He even went so far as to post a picture of when he was sitting and cutting models, with a caption underneath.

....Quit partying to help the Mia...

If Phai was any clearer, he would be kissing his Mia on social media already.

When someone praised Sky as cute, how could Phra Phai not grin widely?

“Heh, he is absolutely cute,” he would have you know when it came to showing off his Mia.

“And how did you get to know him?” Although he wondered why this youth was so interested, because he already knew Phet admired him and almost always found a reason to talk to him, Phra Phai let it go, thinking he was just making conversation. It so happened that he himself was bursting with love and wanted to chatter about it.

“I met him at this event. When I first met him, he was so cold, he did not even see me in his eyes. But after getting to know him, he is absolutely cute. He is whiny too.” Thinking of Sky's face when he told him to come quickly made him smile even wider.

“And you do not bring him here?” Phet asked further.

“I would like him to come, but it depends on his willingness. That person studies hard too.”

“Do you not want him to see you race? Even I think it is cool.” Phet continued to flatter, which made Phra Phai laugh.

“If he really comes, do not bother him, okay! I am possessive,” he warned first, starting to like this youth a bit more. So when Phet asked for his contact number, he gave it easily, not thinking there was any problem. At this event, the young man was close with many people. If there was one or two more people he could talk to and got along with, it was not much different.

“Then I am going. I have urgent business.”

He was going back to hug his Mia.

“Sure, see you later. Do not forget to bring your romantic partner to show off.”

Phra Phai did not care much about other people's opinions, but this time he thought it was a good idea to bring Sky here...his little one would get to see how cool his romantic partner was.

Heh, or maybe forcing him to come next time would be good.

Phra Phai did not take long to ride his motorcycle and park at the student dormitory he was more familiar with than his own condominium. Then he walked through the front door humming, taking the stairs two at a time up to the third floor, and walked straight to the end of the hallway. His handsome face was painted with a wide grin, his eyes sparkling cheerfully. For this task, even if Sky asked him to come help with work, he guaranteed he would work until morning.

I miss you.

A single word with power more devastating than a nuclear bomb.

“Sky promised me a reward too.”

If he behaved well and helped with work, would he get an extra reward?

Phra Phai thought this while pulling out the spare key to unlock the door. Since Sky now knew he had it, there was no need to hide it anymore. He had even given Sky the keycard to his condominium, saying shamelessly that it was an exchange. As for why he had to unlock the door, it was so late that it was possible his romantic partner had already fallen asleep.

It would be fine if he could not. Just being able to slip in and sleep holding a warm body was satisfying enough.

Wow! The day has come when a greedy person like me is satisfied with just sleeping and holding someone.

Phra Phai even laughed at himself. It was no wonder his Mâe liked Sky so much; he had him under control.

“I am here, my dear,” he whispered softly, stepping into the room, but found only an empty bed, forcing him to look past it to the tightly closed bathroom door.

“Sky, I am here,” he said louder, tossing his car keys onto the table, taking off his shoes, followed by taking off his jacket and tossing it carelessly onto the bed. He walked to the wardrobe intending to change into more comfortable clothes. His sharp eyes looked for the clothes he had left there, while his ears heard the sound of the bathroom door opening.

“Sky, have you eaten anything? Should I go down and buy you something?”

Thud!

Suddenly, arms wrapped around his waist, accompanied by the cool body of the person who had just finished showering pressing against his back.

“What is this? Are you being whiny with me today?” the young man teased jokingly, turning around to look at the person holding his waist tightly, and then his heart skipped a beat. His little one could make such an expression too?

The person looking at him had tearful eyes, slightly flushed cheeks, slightly parted lips, and a longing gaze, looking seductive.

“Phîi Phai.”

“What is it?” Phra Phai could even hear that his own voice was shaking, excited almost to the point of madness.

“Can you hold me?” Of course, he hugged back immediately, hearing the faint, trembling voice that made the lump of flesh in his chest beat strongly.

“Can I ask for something?”

“Ask for what, hmm?”

At this moment, he would give everything.

“I ask that...” Sky looked up, bit his lip a little, then murmured in a faint, delicate voice.

“You never let go of my hand.”

In that second, Phra Phai was pierced by Cupid's arrow for who knows which time it was.

Good Lord! Normally it was bad enough, but today what did his Mia eat? Why was he being so whiny that I'm melting this much?
