Chapter 23 - Desire in the Heart

"Not like this, Khun Tul, not like this. Please let me go, I beg you."

"You should like it this way, shouldn't you?"

"N... no, no, Khun Tul."

"What 'no' are you talking about?"

That night, with only the moon in the sky, Pathapee sat astride his Chao-nai's lap, his body bare. He listened to the deep, low voice whispering in his ear, stirring his curiosity to see what expression Khun Tul was making. That way, he might predict what the other was thinking. However, the only thing Kon Hin could see was... darkness.

Both of his eyes were covered by thick fabric.

Kon Hin had no idea what his Chao-nai was thinking, what expression he wore, or how he looked at him. He only knew the sensation that stirred deep within his body through the incredibly gentle actions.

This time, there was no pain, no sex toys, no restraints—only a single cloth covering his eyes. Yet, being enveloped in darkness made his body more sensitive than usual. No matter where Chao-nai touched, Kon Hin tensed, fearing pain, but instead received only tingling pleasure left upon his skin.

For instance, right now, the fingertips traced around his nipple and gently twisted, enough to send a shiver down his spine, making his legs tremble.

"No... not like this, Khun Tul... ugh... Not this way..."

Kon Hin knew well that he had no right to make a request, but the pleas escaped his lips without stopping. His eyes squeezed shut tighter than before, even though they were already closed, biting his lip tightly as if trying to suppress the emotions surging through his body. But it couldn't be stopped, because what was happening was not that he didn’t want it, but... it wasn't enough.

He wanted more than this, more than the light touches like a butterfly flapping its wings.

"Why? If it were Rob, he'd probably do this to you."

Gasp!

The stone that was forced to straddle on top trembled with a gasp. His two free hands firmly grasped Tul's neck, while his face was buried against the wide mouth.

When the other's large hand gripped at Hin's shaft, beads of sweat formed, then the hand slowly and steadily moved up and down, almost to the point that the recipient could not breath.

The young man shivered even more when the tip of Tul's cock teased his entrance.

Once the tip was inserted, Tul pulled it out until the hot shaft hit the groove. It was so hot that Kon Hin groaned and trembled.

No, it's torturous.

"Don't you like it?" Tul taunted.

"No, sob, no, Khun Tul. Don't tease me. Please."

Kon Hin heard the laughter close to his ear and his body trembled when the hot tongue licked from his Adam's apple up to his chin. He was forced to lift his hips up until he involuntarily arched his back, yearning for it, eliciting a low chuckle. Then Kon Hin was finally fully penetrated deep inside.

"Ah, ha, ha, uh!" Hin Kon sobbed when his Chao-nai thrust in slowly, too slowly, until he tried to push his hips to meet Tul's, but his big hands held Hin's hips tightly.

"Don't rush."

"Sob, Khun Tul, please."

Every time, Khun Tul would like to thrust his body hard, pounding until his head shook, but this time it wasn't like that. Hin Kon's Chao-nai had pressed the hot rod inside for several minutes. There were only slow and sluggish movements, until his body and the narrow passage memorized the shape inside accurately.

This kind of action made Hin Kon keep whispering in a trembling voice that he didn't want it.

He couldn't take it anymore.

“It’s not related… it’s not related… Rob…” Hin tried to tell him, but his Chao-nai wouldn’t listen. He could feel the heat and moisture licking his nipples, while Tul’s big hand slowly kneaded Hin's soaked shaft.

“How can it not be related? If it were him, he would have done this to you. Do it slowly.” Tul’s style was to move his penis inside Hin's body in circles, but it made Kon Hin open his mouth and moan, his heart wanting to shake it. His body mostly grew on its own.

“He probably would whisper to ask you if you liked it… If it was good.”

Tul kneaded Kon Hin’s flesh gently with his fingertips, opening the tip of the foreskin, touching the smooth, wet part. His other hand caressed the sweaty skin soothingly. His lips kissed the crook of Hin's neck, stirring up his passion. Not only that, the hot fire from behind slowly prodded him, as if Tul was afraid that Kon Hin would be hurt.

Everything was slow and gentle, as if Kon Hin was a delicate porcelain doll. In fact, he was many times harder to break.

“Oh!”

Kon Hin flinched and tightly hugged Tul's neck, shaking his head on his shoulder. His two hands rubbed along Tul's broad shoulders, touching the sweaty skin of the person beneath. His two legs tensed and dug into the soft bed, his hips tensing to resist Tul's firm hold.

“Please, harder.”

“Don’t rush.”

When Tul roared close to his ear, the big man who didn’t shed a tear even if his head was broken like Hin started to sob, panting until his body shook, shaking his head back and forth on his wide mouth, his hips shaking in circles.

“No, no, if it’s not you, Tul, I won’t. Please, I’ll sleep with you. Sob. I'll only sleep with you.”

He didn’t want anyone else, didn’t want the gentleness that many people wanted. He wanted a man named Tul only.

“Not Rob. Oh! Not anyone… it’s you… I’ll only accept… you, Tul. No one else. Sob.

He had never wanted a close friend like this. He didn’t even have a shred of such a thought.

Unlike the person in front of him, unlike Khun Tul who touched his body. Hin would let the other person do anything. He could close his eyes, but not so that he wouldn’t have to see his Chao-nai’s face or imagine someone else. He didn’t want that because whether his eyes were open or closed, he could only see Khun Tul’s face.

“If it were him… He wouldn’t hurt you.” Tul squeezed Hin’s hips tightly.

“No, I don’t want him! No.”

“Then what do you want?”

A question he could answer without thinking twice.

"You! I want you, Tul!"

Swoop.

"Ugh! Ha ha... Khun Tul, you... again"

Suddenly, Hin let out a cry of unbearable pain when the hot rod that was inserted deep into his back passage was pulled out and quickly thrust in, forcing him to clench his hips to receive it. His legs that were clenched by Tul's torso tightened to withstand the thrusts that were about to thrust in. He gasped loudly, his hands tightly hugging his Chao-nai's neck.

Just as suddenly, the darkness was replaced by the light by the bedside, and it was enough for Hin to see through his tears the sparkling eyes filled with many emotions that were smoldering there. The person who had reached out to touch his cheek and moved to stroke the back of his neck before grabbed his hair tightly.

"Say it again!"

"I... I only want you, Tul," Hin replied hoarsely, pleading for the other person to believe him.

"Even though I hurt you."

Ugh! "No matter how much it hurts”

“Even though I hurt you”

“I don’t care”

“No matter what I do…”

The eyes reflected in the bedside light until they were like a bright gold, and the stone said without hesitation

"I only want you, Tul."

Two pairs of eyes met, one pair was terrifyingly bright, the other pair was trembling with tears, then......

Mmm

"Ugh!"

The body that was forced to straddle on the lap was flipped over to lie flat on the bed again, then the tall figure followed and plunged into the narrow channel again, both hands grabbed the body of the close person to hug tightly, before the round hips moved in with a heavy rhythm.

"You're stupid!" Tul whispered.

But Hin admitted to being stupid, when the lips that always said bad words pressed against him, and gave him the softest kiss he had ever received.

Tul kissed and licked along the petals of Hin's lips, sucking hard before the hot tongue moved into the warm mouth to exchange clear saliva until it turned into a sweet taste, changing the previous torture into pleasure, and the large hand grabbed Hin's ankle pushing his leg up to thrust heavily into the soft channel.

The whole room had only the sound of panting and the sound of the bed legs hitting the floor in a hot rhythm.

Eek... sob... "Khun Tul... Khun Tul"

"Good, moan again, call my name again"

"Khun Tul, harder please. Fuck me, open!"

The rock hugged Tul tightly, hooked his legs to Tul's firm hips, responding to the heavy rhythm with great satisfaction. Clear tears flowed down Hin's cheeks, causing him to close his eyes. The pleasure soared to the limit, causing him to reach out and jerk himself off with the same rhythm.

"Tul... more, please... I... I... mmmm."

The moan of the rock disappeared in Tul's throat when Tul kissed him tightly again. His large hand moved to support the hips of the person below him, while the other hand continued to stroke the sweaty hair several times, increasing the rhythm until the sound of skin rubbing together was even more reverberating. The temperature in the room increased, and the rock tensed all over when the light flashed on the back of his eyelids.

The rhythm of movement remained urgent, yet the palms stroking Hin were so gentle. That caused Kon Hin to half-open his tear-filled eyes to look back at his Chao-nai.

In that moment, the rock thought he was seeing things.

Hin didn't just see the violence that he always felt, but the emotion... yearning?

Would it be wrong that at that second, he thought that Tul desired him?

The thoughts of the person who closed his eyes again to hug the other person tightly, drinking in the dream and the intense heat that was released into his body.

"Don't forget what you said." Tul buried his face in his chest, saying in a harsh voice.

And the person who was gasping for air until he was almost out of energy whispered softly.

“I can’t forget.”

I’m just yours, Tul. The thought that makes both hands hug the Chao-nai’s shoulders tightly.

"Just this much isn’t enough to satisfy you, is it?"

Only when their breathing steadied did Tul prop himself up to meet Kon Hin's gaze. His sharp face bore a knowing smile, leaving Kon Hin momentarily stunned.

"...No, sir."

"You hesitated to answer."

Kon Hin avoided eye contact, simply rolling off the bed and reaching for a box of tissues to clean up. He handed several sheets to his Chao-nai, who still lay on his side on the bed.

"That’s not true, Khun Tul. This much is more than enough."

"Isn’t it true that you prefer when I’m rough with you?"

His trusted companion fell silent, bowing his head and focusing on cleaning up. Tul's words weren’t wrong—Kon Hin’s body had grown accustomed to rough treatment over the years. As a result, the slow, gentle intimacy they’d started with earlier felt more like torment than pleasure. It wasn’t the same as when his Chao-nai transformed into a merciless beast, relentless in his vigor.

Even now, Kon Hin couldn’t help but feel unsatisfied.

Tul, noticing his silence, chuckled softly and sat up on the bed. Reaching between Kon Hin’s long legs, he brushed away the hand attempting to clean the narrow, sullied opening. Using his thumb, he pressed gently inside, making Kon Hin bite his lip hard while watching the thick white fluid drip down Tul’s wrist.

"Admit it—this much didn’t even come close to satisfying you."

"Enough, Khun Thun. Don't, gasp!"

This time, it wasn't just his thumb, but his Chao-nai pushed his index and middle fingers inside, circling around his sensitive spot. It didn't take long for Hin to twitch and accidentally arch his hips to receive his long fingers.

"Your hole is biting me like this."

"No, don't."

But the request was dismissed without any care, because Tul started moving his fingers in and out with a rhythm that made Hin twist his body violently, his legs spread wide uncontrollably.

"Tell me you want me."

"Ugh!" Hin bit his lip until it hurt when that other hand moved faster. His own two hands that were holding the tissue paper squeezed and crumpled it until it was useless.

"Just tell me."

Hin's eyes were half-closed, his lips trembling, and his desire pushed him to speak.

"I want you."

Not only that, he also opened the narrow passage for the other person to see clearly what he meant.

While his sharp eyes flashed with satisfaction, the tall man whispered close to Hin's lips.

"Spread your legs wide."

Hin did as Tul asked. Both of Tul’s hands scooped under his knees and separated his legs until both knees were almost touching the bed. Hin’s pitch-black eyes shone with a pleading look, which Tul leaned down to press a kiss as a reward. The two pairs of eyes met and a new kiss began.

This time, it was searing and intense, a passion so fierce it nearly consumed the one held within its embrace.

It wasn’t just Tul who was forceful—Kon Hin himself was addicted to that very ferocity, unable to break free from it.

It wasn’t that anyone could fulfill them. They needed only each other.

~~~
A new morning arrived, and Kon Hin opened his eyes, squinting against the light streaming through the gaps in the curtains. At first, he was confused about where he was, but his eyes widened when he remembered he was lying on his Chao-nai’s large bed. He noticed the towering figure already dressed in sweatpants, ready to head out for exercise, prompting him to sit up straight in alarm.
He had woken up later than his Chao-nai again.
"You can sleep a bit longer if you want."
"No, sir. I need to head down to help with the work," Kon Hin replied anxiously, glancing at the clock, realizing it was later than usual. He hastily jumped out of bed, grabbing his clothes and dressing quickly. He began straightening the crumpled bed sheets while asking his Chao-nai, who was preparing to leave the room.
"Khun Tul, is there anything special you’d like to eat? I’ll let Aunt Klin know."
"No, but let her know not to set the table. I’ll eat in the kitchen."
Kon Hin acknowledged this, knowing that Khun Trai was occupied with work in Phuket, and the lady of the house was traveling abroad with friends. That left only the eldest son of the household, Tul, who was well-known for preferring not to waste time with formal breakfast setups. He usually ate with the workers in the kitchen instead.
Such were the thoughts of the one adeptly changing the bedsheets.
"Ai Hin." Before Tul could leave the room, his tall figure turned back, stepping to stand beside him.
"Yes?" Kon Hin raised an eyebrow in confusion, and then...
Swoop.
His chin was grabbed and tilted upward, forcing him to receive a quick kiss that brushed against his lips before Tul pulled back to look into his eyes.
"I forbid you from going to Rob's house."
It was not a question but an order. Tul evilly gave a malicious smile, released the grip on Kon Hin's chin, and walked out with a towel in hand, leaving the one receiving the command frozen for several moments.
"Yes, Khun Tul," he eventually replied softly, only finding his composure after his Chao-nai disappeared from sight. Kon Hin lifted a hand to touch his lips.
He wasn’t imagining things, right? Khun Tul was... possessive.
This thought is truly unsettling.
A thought that made his heart race, his cheeks flush bright red, and his lips curl upward in a smile, only for him to shake his head firmly.
He redirected his focus to his routine tasks, taking the soiled bed sheets with their lingering stains to the laundry room. He loaded them into the machine, closed the lid, and let it run before heading to the kitchen, bustling with workers, even though there was only one master in the house today.
"Oh, Hin, you’re late today. I’ve already watered the entire garden," an older worker remarked.
"Sorry, Uncle," Kon Hin replied, his face burning with heat as he tried not to reveal why he had struggled to get up. He turned to speak with the head cook instead.
"Mother, Khun Tul said he'd come down to eat in the kitchen."
The aroma of the porridge cooking in the pot caught her attention as she turned away momentarily.
"Did Khun Tul mention what he wanted to eat?"
"No, he didn't," Kon Hin shook his head, prompting the head cook to smile broadly.
"Anything will do, I suppose," she said affectionately.
"How many masters would share the same pot of food with their workers? Khun Tul probably doesn’t realize that his 'anything will do' can make things harder for me."
Kon Hin didn’t respond to her comment but knew well that Khun Tul didn’t care what he ate as long as his stomach was full. Sometimes, he couldn’t help but fear that he was just like food to that man. That man didn’t care who he slept with as long as his needs were satisfied. But when the day came that he found food to his taste, someone he truly liked… Kon Hin would be rendered meaningless.
Damn it. What kind of thoughts are you having, Ai Hin?
"And is there anything special you want to eat, Hin?"
"Huh? Why are you asking me, Mother?" Kon Hin looked at her in confusion.
"So I’ll know what Khun Tul wants to eat."
"What does that have to do with me?" he asked her playfully, but he froze when she answered.
"Of course, it’s related. Whenever you want to eat something, Khun Tul eats the same thing. Mother thinks it’s even become one of his catchphrases: 'Whatever Hin eats, Tul eats too.' You’ve been together all this time and never noticed?" Mother spoke affectionately about the little master who had grown into a handsome young man. But as for her son, he had never considered this.
"No, Mother, I never noticed."
"Really? Even I can tell. Khun Tul is quite attached to you. We even joke sometimes that the reason Khun Tul comes to eat here isn’t because he loves the cooking but because he’s attached to his friend, isn’t that right, P’Klin?" The gardener chimed in, teasing Klin, whose smile quickly disappeared.
This gardener teased about everything—everything except her cooking skills, which she was confident about.
"Watch it, or I won’t cook for you anymore. My cooking skills are plenty good," Klin retorted.
"Yes, P’Klin, but when are we going to get to eat?" the gardener teased back.
Klin rolled her eyes sharply.
"Wait for the master to eat first. Are you really going to eat before him?"
Kon Hin didn’t pay attention to the continuing banter. He merely stared absentmindedly at the porridge in the pot, reflecting on what they had said. Yet, he couldn’t laugh at the thought that suddenly came to his mind. Perhaps it wasn’t just about food or anyone else—it had to be him.
You’re really letting yourself believe that, huh?
The realization startled him, making him quickly excuse himself.
"I’ll go take a shower now," he announced to the kitchen staff.
"Yeah, go ahead."
This thought continued to circle in his mind even after he had showered, changed into casual clothes, and returned to the kitchen.
The fragrant smell now filled the kitchen, as the head chef had just finished making a fried egg with pickled radish and was now adding morning glory to the pan to stir-fry. The delicious scent invited the house staff to trickle into the kitchen to wait for breakfast, including Kon Hin, who followed them to fill his plate with rice.
He only realized how hungry he was when he smelled the food from the kitchen.
"Hin, what year are you in now?" As everyone gathered, the chatter filled the room.
"Fourth year, Phii."
"Wow, you're about to graduate! Time flies. I remember when you wore that student uniform, you looked so plain standing next to Khun Tul. Now, you’re handsome with a bit of a presence," one of the older workers commented.
Kon Hin scratched his head, feeling shy. He wasn’t upset about the remark regarding his lack of presence, as it was hard to compare a servant to their master. Just walking into the university, Khun Tul would attract attention from every year.
"So, have you figured out what you want to do after you graduate?" Another voice asked, followed by dry laughter from the group.
"Just keep doing what I’m doing now, Phii."
"How could you! You’ll graduate with the same degree as Khun Tul, and you’re going to keep working as a servant forever?" The person responded with disbelief. Kon Hin turned to look at his mother.
Klin, who was placing the stir-fried morning glory onto a large plate, helped out with the conversation.
"This depends on Khun Trai. If Khun Trai wants Hin to do something, he’ll do it."
"Wow, Phii. So, if Khun Trai told Hin to work in the garden for the rest of his life, you’d do that, huh?" The person asked, still incredulous.
But for someone who had lived in this house for almost twenty years, it was hard to imagine anything else. It was different because Klin smiled widely with sincere willingness, placing a hand on her son's shoulder and speaking firmly.
"Yes, if Khun Trai commands it, Hin must do it."
Kon Hin wasn’t surprised by his mother's response. Their family owed everything to the master's generosity. His mother often said that before they met Khun Trai, their family was destitute—so poor that they had nothing to eat, no roof over their heads. If not for Khun Trai, they couldn’t imagine what state they would be in now.
The young man added to his mother's statement, "Khun Trai is the benefactor of our family, Phii. Without Khun Trai, my parents and I don’t know if we’d even be alive. No matter how educated I become, Khun Trai’s orders will always be absolute."
The kitchen fell silent immediately. Many who had worked there for years nodded in understanding, while newer workers looked unconvinced. Kon Hin chose to change the subject himself.
"Mother, can I fry some eggs?"
"How many?"
His mother walked to the refrigerator, ignoring the sympathetic glances from the others. She wasn’t upset that her son might not have the same opportunities for advancement as others. Kon Hin felt the same way. His life, having met Khun Trai and Khun Tul, was one he wouldn’t trade for anything. Even if he were reborn into a life of wealth and privilege, if he couldn’t meet Khun Tul, he wouldn’t desire that life at all.
He couldn’t live without this Chao-nai. Just the thought of it made it hard to breathe.
"I assure you, Hin won’t be watering plants for the rest of his life."
Whap!
Suddenly, everyone in the kitchen turned to look in unison, finding the family’s eldest son standing with arms crossed, leaning against the doorway. His sharp face was adorned with a smile as he glanced at everyone and reiterated his words.
"I know everyone is concerned about Hin, but I assure you, he’ll be working with me. I must ask you, Aunt Klin, for your understanding that after he graduates, Hin may not be able to help in the kitchen or garden like this anymore. You wouldn’t mind, would you?" Tul looked at Klin with eyes resembling a boy pleading for something.
"Auntie knows I can’t live without Hin."
Kon Hin couldn’t tell what others thought, but for him, his hands were trembling, his body shaking, and his heart pounding. The hand holding the pan and spatula nearly let them fall to the ground as he asked himself what Khun Tul had just said in front of everyone here.
Was it me that Khun Tul couldn’t live without? No, it’s the other way around—I am the one who can’t live without Khun Tul.
Their eyes met briefly before Tul shifted his gaze as the head cook spoke with a trembling voice, "If Hin is of use to you, Khun Tul, please feel free to make the most of him. I’m happy that Hin can be of service to you."
Tul stepped closer, wrapping an arm tightly around Klin's shoulders.
"Don’t cry, Auntie. You know Hin is important to me too. He’ll finish his studies and get a good job. Auntie should start preparing a new outfit for his graduation ceremony."
Hin’s mother quickly bowed her head, wiping away tears.
"There, Khun Tul told you not to cry, and now your tear ducts have burst, Auntie!"
"Watch it!" Klin turned and bared her teeth at the teasing comment before quickly asking her employer: "Does Khun Tul want to eat anything? Auntie will make it for you."
"No need, Auntie. I’ll eat the same as Hin," Tul replied.
Kon Hin, who was about to fry an egg, paused and turned to look at his employer.
"What are you eating today?" Tul asked Hin in a pleasant voice, his hand still gently resting on Klin’s shoulder.
"Mother made an omelet with salted radish and stir-fried morning glory, but I’m frying an additional fried egg," Hin replied.
"Then fry two more eggs for me. I’ll eat those too."
"Yes, sir."
"See? I told you," Klin remarked.
Tul wore a look as if asking, Told you what? Kon Hin, however, said nothing, only lowered his head and busied himself retrieving eggs from the refrigerator. His mother’s earlier comment lingered in his mind—that their employer always liked to eat the same food as he did.
"Did I miss something, Auntie?" Tul asked, feigning curiosity.
"Oh, Auntie just mentioned to Hin that whenever someone asks what Khun Tul wants to eat, you always say you’ll eat the same as him."
The man standing at the stove didn’t turn around, but he knew that pair of eyes was fixed on him.
"That’s true," Tul said. "I’ve been like that since I was a kid. Whatever Hin eats, I eat too. Whatever Hin plays, I play too. It seems like I can’t live without Hin, Auntie. In the blink of an eye, it’ll be forty or sixty years. Even when we grow old, we’ll likely never be able to cut ties."
“Are you serious, Khun Tul? If you keep this up, Ai Hin will never find a Mia,” someone teased. The employer replied with equal humor.
“If it actually happens, I won’t allow it.”
But that remark, though humorous, made Kon Hin’s skin crawl.
He wasn’t imagining things, was he? Amidst the laughter, there was an undercurrent of seriousness that made him fear others might misunderstand. He turned his sharp face away, intending to change the subject. Yet, he hesitated, as those striking eyes were fixed on him, unblinking.
“I’ve never thought about Hin having a Mia before. But if it actually happens…”
Kon Hin didn’t dare guess what words were missing from the sentence.
“Ai Hin, I think you won’t need to find a Mia in this lifetime. Khun Tul has already said this much,” the gardener uncle teased fondly, as if watching a child cling possessively to a friend. Tul feigned a playful lament, his tone half-joking, half-serious.
“He’s my important person.”
Kon Hin had to admit—at this his heart melted like wax under a flame.
